Any opinions on my theme?

I have this list, but I only have 23 picked. It's mainly earth themed: gold/light brown/dark brown. I do have 1 red though, but I love it.

Not sure if I can even pick 2 more, since I'm trying to get 1 one each family, but I don't like some of them/or there's no earthen/red color for the family.

tan regular silithid or tan ant silithid
beige moth

the brown armored scorpid skin (Madexx) will be available on a common mob next patch, if you like that one

I'm on a bit of an earth-colored kick, myself, so we have many pets in common. I also used to have the bone spider (now have a grey/brown tarantula), brown fox (now have red to match minipet), and brown rhino (now have white to match mount).

The brown Madexx common skin will also be a color-changer with the blue skin I believe (unless I missed the thread saying it was stabalized).

I actually really like your theme, Iseori. ^_^ Seems like a theme that would be great for a tauren hunter.

Also, picture linking can be done through Photobucket or Imageshack. I use Photobucket, which has the linking options built in and I just copy and paste them into my post.

I can't put a finger on the specific post, but the "common" brown Madexx scorpid was confirmed to be color-stable and not a color-changer. I think it was in the thread where the whole kerfuffle about it being reputedly a color-changer on the PTR took place. Wain asked Noah, who said the changes both to Madexx and the upcoming common skin had not been intended, and that Madexx would continue to spawn in all 5 colors, while the common brown scorpid would only be brown and not blue. The following PTR build, the errors were corrected, as I recall.

OK, latest update. I had to double check what I thought I knew and check what I could say:
1. The new common spawn Venomscale Spitter will be moving to a single, stable colour: brown. The least flashy of all Madexx's colours
2. However Madexx will continue to spawn in all 5 colour possibilities (including the brown), with all NPC ids retaining their current colour from live. Whatever colour you tamed in 4.0.3 will be the same in 4.0.6, regardless of what it is on the current PTR patch. If you find Madexx in brown, in 4.0.6 you're gonna be a bit unlucky. Then again most people seem to have a single colour in mind when they look for Madexx, so any other colour they find is already a bit unlucky. I feel bad for them

I suspect some people are gonna be upset about the double brown thing, but at least it's not going to come as a surprise now.
