Madexx woes.

Why does Madexx have such an insane spawn time?

Last couple of spawns have been in this order:
12 hours
14 hours
16 hours
10 hours
Currently camping him now and it looks like another 16 hour camp..../sigh.

I'm currently camping a 2nd Madexx, I got the brown one earlier and I love her to bits but I reeeeeally want a green one for her to play with. Madexx isn't as bad as some of the rares I've gotten, Aotona and Gondria both spawned at 23.5 hours after last re-spawn, and I did loops all day long checking. It sucks but trust me it's worth it, Madexx is lovely!

And it could throw you a weird 5.5 hour respawn in there just to make it nice and confusing for you. Yes, I have seen him respawn that quickly, so it really does seem like a 5.5 - 24 hour respawn timer. x_x

Yeah thats crazy.

Thing is I play on a high pop server so its easily ganked before most hunters can tame it. Me and a couple of other hunters have made sure they haven't been getting killed because we have the spawn time to a science...sorta lol.

As of this post, his last spawn times were:
16 hours
6 hours
currently looking at a 14+ hour spawn right now. It's on 13 and I have no clue if he spawns on odd hours???

Been camping for 5 days and no sign of him at all. his spawn timer could be very long than other rares imo. It's nice to see some of u have a madexx, but on my realm, (Eldre'Thalas - US) it's like he doesn't exist....

I'm with Worgenhunt on this one. I've not seen hide nor hair of Madexx at all on my server.

I'm on Kil'jaeden server which is very high pop, full not too long ago and Uldum is constantly buzzing with people. I got extremely lucky with the brown madexx I have, he literally spawned right under me and I dropped a pretty far distance out of the air to tag him lol. A lot of people kill rares because "lol he gives good xp and gold" which always makes me die a little inside.

My server is a medium population. also horde will also kill it since madexx is like a model of the Horde guild mount and maybe they may think madexx will drop a scorpion mount or something. which he only drops a grey item that vendors for 25 g

Pretty much this. Granted, I can't blame most of them who may not know he's a desirable pet. WoW kind of DOES give rares better loot etc. That said, I try to tell people that no, only a grey, no achievement. Horde have it tough with goobers who think he drops a mount. :/ Also, there are farming bots out in Uldum who might nab him along a path.

I was either right on top of a spawn or it was an ungodly AM/off-day and not very busy when I got mine.

I've had pretty decent luck checking on 6 hour intervals...sometimes a day and a half passes between sightings, but I've seen him eight times in the past week so it has to count for something! @_@ *prays RNG is kind and drops blue in her lap eventually*
