i dont know, im starting to think if he's phased or something, maybe thats why we cant see him? Mybe we need to complete certain # of uldum quests...

Oh gosh I hope not. If he's phased, then it's an earlier phase for me, since I've done everything in Uldum.

But if someone in another phase tags him, it'd drag him to that phase, wouldn't it...

Ah geez.

so far i have completed 65/108 uldum quests.

but who knows he might surprise us when he spawns.

I've seen consistent reports that Madexx will exist across all phases. No clue about being dragged into a specific phase by being tagged, however.

I'm fairly sure that stretch of desert only has one phase, considering the amount of folk I see killing scorpions there. xD

If any you guys have a madexx how long did it take you guys to get one?

I didn't tame the first one I stumbled upon (it was black) so...eleven hours after that. Green was three days after my warrior stumbled upon another red. Blue...it's been over a week since that red, and not a sign. Current count of sightings is four reds, three blacks, two greens, and a brown.

I believe Madexx will pop up for everyone no matter what number of quests you are on. When I first got my red madexx I was only 40 quests in.. all the other madexxs I got after completing Uldum. Not sure if he gets phased if you tag it though and your in a different phase.. *thinks* could be.. all I know is the desert No fly zone glitch sucks.. lol.

Haa, fantastic! So after spending something ridiculous like nine hours of circling circling circling, when suddenly the whisper I was waiting for come through!



As you can see, I didn't waste any time clicking off the recount reset junk before hauling tail over there!

There was a moment of panic when npcscan went off before he loaded in and I thought I has somehow missed my chance, but then there he was all big and angry with me! So I dropped a trap, promptly broke it, and hit tame. A few uneasy seconds later, and...



...and pretty much immediately we were dive bombed by two hunters who were just a bit too slow. But man, I"m so excited! He returned from his trip to find the moon, or whatever was keeping him from us, and now he is mine!



He still needs a name, but he's so pretty. Thanks again to Furiku for spending most of the day flying in circles looking for a bug in among the other bugs~<3

Thanks! I thought I wanted the blue best, but I think it's fitting the black one showed. He is the color that sold me on him, after all.

Congratulations! And yes, Madexx spawns no matter what # of quests you've done. I had completed Uldum when I went bug hunting. I think I also saw someone just tame a blue on Feathermoon. But they were Horde, and I did not wish to pester them. Still, a blue scorpid named Scorpid at his spawn point and level 84...
