I feel the same way. I wouldn't top my guilds dps charts without Surv but I hate it. I have never liked the rotation, but have only become comfortable with it for having to use it. I tolerate it just enough because of the dps it gives me but I miss being BM. I miss the freedom of using any pet I wish, not being limited when I use Call Pet. I always keep Loque and Krush with me and seeing them all hidden away makes me sad. I do hope to be able to raid as efficiently with BM soon.

Hopefully we get the patch in the next couple of hours, and I know what you mean by missing BM.. This is a pet forum after all i'm sure the majority of us can relate. XD

We had a BM hunter in BH10 doing 9-10k dps, he respecs to surv and unloads 18-19k .. That's a little extreme. I've never touched SV myself.. Even if I was raiding I would only feel obligated to match the lowest fellow dpser in the raid and then I feel that i'm pulling my weight. =P

Hopefully we get a little boost.. =/

Edit: The reason I enjoy BM the most is the coordination, this is also the reason that I always preferred PvP > Heroics (I switched back to heroics for a brief time but everyone seems to be QQing and I don't even need a healer anymore to tank a lot of the trash, so back to PvP for me!) I also really really enjoy tanking third boss in stone core, and most of all, I love having to coordinate both my character and muh keety at the same time. <3

World first 25 man raiding guilds were bringing a BeastMaster hunter on progression fights in 4.0.3. It should be an even easier decision now. Calculate for yourself what that 3% damage buff (and the missing exotic pet buff) brings and mentally add it to your total.
