Those WoW sounds you love
Re: Those WoW sounds you love
As others have mentioned, the sound of mount hooves.
Also, I love the sound of the rain, and the wolf howls.

One thing I really love about this game is all the voice acting. The guy who dose Falric gives me the creeps and I have a real life friend that can imitate Edward Van Cleef really really well lol. Some day I would love to look all the actors up just so I can see their other work but I have no idea where to start besides some Blizz credits and Google.

I think my favorite is the music that plays in Sholazar...reminds me of the ambient music in Disney's Jungle Book.

Re: Those WoW sounds you love
I absolutely love the Grizzly Hills music, myself. When passing through there for whatever reason, I'll often pause in flight just to get the music playing. Thunder Bluff is another zone whose music I like.Vephriel wrote:The music in WoW is absolutely one of my favourite aspects. I know a lot of people play with the sound off, or have their own music, but I always play the game with its original audio.Sochi wrote:Hearing you all speak of the music, I'll have to give a proper listen. I usually play with the music off as the music in FF 11 kinda put me off.Every piece just fits the zone perfectly, and some of them are so beautiful I could just sit and listen to them for hours. (Howling Fjord is a top favourite)
I'm probably the only person who likes the sound tallstrider pets make when you send 'em in to attack.

Wowwiki does list some names, if you look up the specific character. Not always reliable thoughTygamoon wrote:One thing I really love about this game is all the voice acting. I've always loved the headless horseman's laugh. Sadly none of my guys can wear the helmet. And I like the music from the grizzly hills.

Re: Those WoW sounds you love
I just got yet another one. Dwarven NPCs will say "Keep yer' feet on the ground!" when you leave. This is funny if they're a Flight Master.
"Keep yer' feet on the ground!" as I soar off on a gryphon... Good times...
