It was such an epic hunt throughout WoTLK, but now with Cata well underway, all the new content, along with its pets, Krush was always a thought at the back of my mind. Tame after tame, satisfied with my new pets, I'd go back to the Basin, only to find it horribly quiet...He STILL eluded me, even with the entire Alliance population of my server hanging around Stormwind. Being an engineer, every few hours I'd use my trusty [Wormhole Generator: Northrend], and stick to the patrol.
After an uneventful week WoW-wise, I decided to go looking for my Sea Turtle that I had 'misplaced', and bump up my guild's count for 'That's A Lot Of Bait!'. I prefer the scenery in Northrend, it's nice to get away from the areas where you do your dailies day in and day out. So my first stop was, of course, Sholazar. No surprises, none of the 3 rares were there. Logged off to watch some TV, then logged back on to see if a friend was online. NPCScan went off and I let out a little yelp (it might of been more than a little yelp, since both my mother AND my brother came to see what was the matter with me, haha!). Hands shaking, I tried to find the Tame Beast in my SpellBook, missing it twice (I had taken it off my ActionBars a few hours earlier, doh.). The glimmer of light made me do a little dance in my chair =) (And I was WAY too panicked to take screenshots) (But I took a few after!)
He's subsequently undergone a sex change, and I'm pleased to say 'Yoko' will be running heroics with me for a pretty long time. :3
