Stranglethorn Spirit Appeal!

Ever since seeing screen shots posted of Pogeyan on the PTR awhile back I just knew she'd make the perfect pet for my Troll. There was just one issue. Logging on Tuesday I realized that Thaz'lek was only level 20.. I spent the entire day cramming levels (Oh! I also managed to tame Humar in this time! <3) with class time slowly creeping up on me. Eventually, I had to give up leveling and being so exhausted when I got home, really had to give up for the day.

Logging in bright and early Wednesday morning I picked up the questing train right away, starting at 23. Two levels before the Pogeyan hunt was in my sight I found Mahamba stomping about his spawn area. He was huge! He hadn't really stood out to me before, but by the time I had actually hit 28 I thought hey, why not? It's always nice to have a tank pet to fall back upon. Thankfully no one had killed him while I was frantically cramming in those last levels. We clicked instantly! He's got gorgeous colors and is really deserving of the Water Spirit title he holds. Even dragged him out with me while I was waiting for Pogeyan to spawn, which is a funny story in its own.

Camped myself right on Pogeyan's spawn spot (based on screen shots others have posted. Thank you all for jumping on this so quickly! You've saved folks a lot of time <3) then handed my computer off to my boyfriend to visit the little Hunter's room. Not even ten seconds after I had closed the bathroom door do I hear a, "Oh my God. Babe, he's up!" Made sure to tell him I had an active pet before leaving him with the task at hand ;D

Now I haven't seen Tsul'Kalu yet but I've been thinking if camping him out as well. The coolest thing about these guys are the abilities that come along with their names, and by that I mean the ones they have before the tame. Mahamba tried to hit me with a water spout like ability which went off just as the tame wast complete and Pogeyan looked like she was throwing off flame shocks. I can't wait to see what Tsul'Kalu has in store for me!

Tiny update, even though I posted this less than an hour ago. Tsul'Kalu was up and waiting for me when I ventured back into Stranglethorn. He has an earth shield!

Nice congrats! I've contemplated getting the STV Spirit Trio myself Heck why not, I think I'll go for that later tonight

I finally caved and took a break from Madexx hunting to nab him for my little worgen. XD Very shiny!

Ah, the memories. When I found these three, Tsul'Kalu was the first one I found. Flew over the hill, and there was an *ENORMOUS* white gorilla with an earth shield. I just about peed myself. I was actually a tad disappointed when I found out it was a gorilla instead of a spirit beast, because dude. Earth Spirit! And Earth Shield!

They're all crazy huge! Taming Mahamba and watching him go from three times as large as a normal crocolisk, to half the size of a normal crocolisk made me a little sad! I have to say, he's my favorite of the three at this time.

They should make them moderately transparent. Just moderately... so you can barely tell... but you can still tell.... you know?
