Can't decide :(

I have a pet in the stable and I don't know what do with it I no longer use him. By the way it's a snow leopard. Back on topic I don't use him anymore I can't decide if I want to "release" him or keep him in the stable. What do you guys think?

Are all five stable slots purchased? If not, then you should keep the pet you still have an attachment to (and you do, or else you wouldn't be debating here ), and save up the money to buy an extra stable slot! That way, you don't have to worry about it.

If I had the ability, I'd send you money to get all the stable slots! I think every hunter should have that. I'm stuck because my slots are filled up with pets I love. Not every pet has to be an elite fighting machine. Even if you dual specced and had one for each spec in raids, and one for pvp, you still have space for pets that just make you smile. That's what is great about being a hunter in my opinion.

Well... Go to petopia and scan the available pets.. Something jumps out at you go for it.. You could also bring the stabled pet out and run with it for awhile, see if you can get back the feeling of when you first offered yourself to that pet as a friend.. See if you can reignite those old feelings..

Most definitely. I frequently have pets that I just can't let go of, even if I never use them for anything.

Very. My main hunter has two pets that he'll probably not use often. But I keep them because I'm much too attached to let them go.

I have a feeling like that I have two cats my snow leopard which I mentioned in my first post and my nightsaber stalker I don't use my nightsaber stalker at all but I can't get myself to get rid of him because he has been by my side longer than my snow leopard now I use my snow leopard more. I made this topic because I didn't know what to do with it and I love doing raids, quests, and dungeons with him it just feels wrong if my SL (snow leopard) isn't with me. Then my NSS (nightsaber stalker) is just so precious because hes been with me for awhile.

I've had this problem with a black worg, I love it so much but I already had another wolf that I used more often. What helped me was that I had by chance started a low level hunter to do only dungeons with a friend already. So I just went out & captured the black worg on that hunter and use it for those dungeons now. So although he's not on my main account, he's still with me and more active now too.

Anyway don't be afraid to let go, it's ok to. Maybe your nightsaber stalker actually would be happy to go back to the woods, find a mate and have a family of cubs now

Absolutely! I have my owl, Archimedes, that was my only pet from levels 10-80. I can't give him up. Altho, someday he might "evolve" into Aotona. lol

I never thought of it that way my nightsaber stalker being happy if he was "released" maybe your right that's probably better than having sit in my stable everyday and that would give me more space in my stable. I got my nightsaber stalker at level 16 I think then I got my Snow leopard at level 26 because thats when I decided I wanted one.

If you're really sentimental about it, you could always travel back to the same place that you originally tamed your Nightsaber and let it go there. That way, if you wanted to get it back in the future, you could go back there and retame one thinking it was the one you released.

Yeah, I understand. I felt miserable when I released Midnight back into the wild. At least he technically got face-time in this one RP I participated in...

But really. If you don't want to let them go, don't. It may pixels, but its our fifteen dollars to spend as we please.

I've had a few pets i regret getting rid of. Kong, my soloing gorrila, Waspinator, my first true raid pet in Naxx was a wasp, Broccoli, my green Core Hound. All of which are pretty easily replaceable, but we are limited to 5 slots in our stables.

Do what you feel like though.
