Humar or Echeyakee

Hello, I'm going back to my first hunter and I want a knew pet but I can't decide between Humar or Echeyakee. Which skin do you guys prefer?

I like humar more by far, but thats just my opinion. i had him from lvl23-75.

I'm more of an Echeyakee girl. I actually had him in my stables for a long while, butcats never appealed to me while leveling, so I let him go when exotics came around. If I had the space, I would get them both, because I like the contrast between them, but if I had to choose, I'd go White over Black.

I personally like Humar a lot more, but everyone's going to have their own opinion. I doubt we'll be of much help. Choose the one you like best.

I prefer Humar for obvious reasons.

But like Veph said, it's all up to you. What do YOU want?

I vote white because I tamed his "cousin" in Winterspring. lol Then you can get the white core hound, and the white devilsaur, and the white Goretalon Matriarch , and the "white" Gondria... Oh wait, That's me lol

I actually had a regular lion as my first pet several years ago, named Regal. But once I found out about Echeyakee, I fell in love and had to get him (I always had a fondness for white pets, so it was only natural I'd like Echeyakee). So I guess my vote would go to Echeyakee but it sounds like you already got the black one?

If you make room in your stable.. You could have both... Or if you can duel box, then Get Echeyakee at a low lvl on your alliance character.. Have your Horde player summon when the quest is available, then switch to your alliance for the tame...You won't see a low lvl alliance character with it very often... Or if you know a Horde player convince them to summon and you to tame...

I have king Bangalash as my current Kitty. The White Tiger King is a very good looking Pet to run around with. but of course you guys are talking lion types. i actually like the Mountain Lion models alot and dont see hardly any of them on my server these days

This is not the easiest thing to do everytime I enter the barrens I get hordes chasing me. I have a night elf.

WEll if you're going after Humar, then go to ratchet first and get the FP.

There's a path that goes straight up to Humar's little tree. You can just chill and wait there for him.

If you are camping Humar, just climb the tree he's under. There's a cool limb you can log in and check if he's there.

Personally, I did Humar for a long time during vanilla. He was the pride of my pack.

Nowadays, I don't have any black lions in the stables. Its a shame too as I kinda miss him. My step-daughter got Ecky and she loves her. Its a personal preference deal as they both have the same model... As Ecky is only summonable by horde, it makes for a very unique lower level alliance hunter pet (cause you'd need help from another to summon her). I actually would make another char up to the point of ecky's quest, summon her and then log into your alliance hunter nearby for the tame. Its MUCH easier than camping Humar.
