I got my owl!

So I'm a low level hunter on the horde side, and i keep seeing all these other hunters with tallstriders, pigs, cats and wolves. So i decided to make the trek to darnassus and brave its purpleness for an owl! and I got it! heres a pic of me with Nobo! Ive actually gotten some pst's asking me where i got an owl this lvl. must be a rare site to see at my lvl right?

Very nice! It's always fun to go out of your way to tame a pet that isn't normally seen where you quest.

It's so much fun making treks across the world to find a new, interesting pet that no one else has! Well of course except for all of the broken gear and dying and stuff, but...

well it wasn't too bad, had a guildy give me a lift on his tundra mammoth. But while we were waiting for the boat this druid comes along and one shots me, so my buddy kills him, rez's me, and we hop on the boat, he aggros all the guards, i run to teleporter. and /sigh guards right there waitin for me. When I release I realize that im by dolanar which is worth taking the rez sickness because it means i dont gotta go through darn >.> but yea, was fun and worth it, minus the getting one shotted by a druid and guards.

Ahhh yep, brings back the memories of when I trekked to Dun'Morogh on my tauren for a white wolf.

Grats on your unique pet! It is rather unusual to see someone with a pet from another faction's starting zone! ^_^

I did this with my hunter nearly 5 years ago =p, Mulgure to the night elf start area at lvl 10 was rough, especially during the days of world pvp raids between Splintertree and Astrannar.

Night elves have a trait that their eyes don't see the color purple as others. They know nothing of the plague of purple that festers in their land.

Sneaking into the opposite side's territory and getting a pet from there (and that's ONLY found there, at that level) makes taming even more fun!

Just ran all the way to Dun Morogh last night on my Nesingwary troll hunter for a gray bear. The brown ones from Silverpine just didn't cut it. For someone who usually detests bears, I actually kinda like this gray one. His blue face matches my skin, he has red eyes just like me, and heck, he even has a dark stripe running down his back that reminds me of my big black hairstyle! We're a couple of kool kats, lol.

The beauty of having a pet like that.... On m baby hunter I ran all the way over to the Draenei area just to get a ravager... the feeling of accomplishment is definately out there.

Ok it does not show you the location but its across from the Temple of light on border of the map you walk out on to a tree,
