Helping a friend find their prize :)

During the last few weeks of my rare pet search, I've run into a dozen or so hunters that were also hunting for their own rare. Not close friends ingame or anything, just mere acquaintances sharing a conversation from time to time about how our hunts are going. One such Draenei hunter named Bhavshera I met in the desert of Uldum, as both of us were looking for Madexx... I wanted any color (yes, except brown ) while they really loved the black one. We made an agreement that if I were on and black spawned, I'd let them know so they could come tame it.. and if any color other than black spawned for Bhavshera they would let me know.

We'd ask from time to time how the hunt was going, and if there had been any recent sightings for timer purposes. Well as you all know, I got my Madexx (black) this past Sunday, but Bhavshera wasn't on I told them I still wouldn't mind a blue or red one (heck or green, but mainly the first two) and that I'd still keep a close eye for the black one for them. A blue Madexx spawned late last night.. around 2am.. but I was in bed seeing as how I had to be up for work at 6:30am.. which was actually the second time I wasn't around for a blue Madexx (doh!).

Today I got home from work around 4 and had been waiting near the spawns, flying every so often to check them.. while I queued for dungeons as I still needed some gear as well as experience for all my new pets. I continued to do this until 7pm, when I decided to leave a 5man 3 bosses in, due to our tank pulling a pack.. after a boss kill.. while we were trying to grab a 5th since someone left.. AND our healer was oom. It also didn't help that he had the arrogant immature attitude of a 12yr old. Nevertheless.. I dropped the group and began my flyby for the spawn points.

Got my hunter friend his favorite new pet. Feels really good to help them end their search! Hooray!

Added a 3rd rare give-away to my list. Stumbled across Arcturis at 6:30am and started sending hunters in SW tells. Eventually got one that was interested, and he came out and got him. You'll see a lev 73 druid fighting a bear in the background, he flew over about 30sec after the tame.. he kind of looked at us for a second, then started killing bears (for a quest I assume). I'm 99% sure it was a coincidence, but you never know, he may have tried to kill it for loot. Either way, lucky sighting and grats Kennaeth on your new spirit bear
