Vengeance of the Soultakers

Darkrai chuckled a bit, and started weaving up a nightmare.

((Right, feel free to RP it out if you want to, Ruby. I have no idea what would scare him. :D ))

Arkon nodded and bounded after Venin, keeping his heat inside of him in his chest. He didn't let it reach his paws, focusing on that as he moved to keep himself from slipping up again. His ears perked forward as he heard Lark and he grinned. He took a moment to dig his paws in before he shot forward, picking up more speed as he rushed toward the others.

[Lupis]

Lark turned slightly as she heard the others coming. Suddenly she grinned mischievously, and scooped snow into her paws, tossing it at Arkon, trying to make him trip up.

[Kira]

Arkon had been running well. Right up until the snow squished into his face and made him yelp out, slipping and landing on his muzzle. "Ooof! I'mokay!" So much for looking dignified.

((Urrgh, catching up with 20 odd pages. Sorry for not posting sooner. Got sucked off to the land of Honalee where I had fantastic and magical adventres with a dragon. ))

Dextra woke from his reverie. He had rested long enough, restored his spend power or what little truely remained of it and was ready to fufill his masters bidding. Listening to the soul-exchange from the other soultakers he soon had a better understanding of the current situation. Baaz seemed to to on the right path although slower than he wish for. Yet the others were no closer to finding the mirror. He wondered if there was a better way to find it. It was something to mull over at least.


Draxis grunted with the extra weight of the boulder he was carrying. It seemed like a good training idea at the time. Now it was just heavy and his luminous body was straining not to just drop it down the mountain side. Draxis didn;t want to do that though as with his luck it would most likely start a landslide a kill someone. The sudden and brief flash of orange and red statled him though and he turned hid head to see and Arcanine dashing up the mountainside.
"Isn't that .." He said to himself. He turned intangable and sunk into the ground dropping the boulder. Draxis kicked himself a little for not thinking of this earlier.
Staying intangable he spend through the rocky substance of the mountain until he caught up to the Arcanine.
"Umm, Mr Baaz. Um Sir. What are you doing here?" Draxis asked. Popping out of the ground in front of the Arcanine.

[Moonlost]

"Yes, Invisible Smacking Rock!" Asher said, sticking his tongue out at Lark, before yelping and jumping out of the way of Arkon. "You okay?" He asked.

Venin reached the "Invisible Smacking Rock" and sniffed around, jumping atop it. She could see footprints sprawling out from here, heading towards the old unown ruins. That seemed odd... The Vaporeon jumped down and moved over to the fresher set of footprints, turning to wait for the children to follow, smiling to herself as she watched them fool about in the snow.

Baaz jolted up, as if awakign from some sort of trance. He looked at the strange creature before him, twisting his head. "You have to forgive me, I am not entirely sure who you are."

[BrickWall]

"I'm Draxis Sir. A Golett. I was a lower ranked member of The Dawn. I think we met only once. You said good job to me and about six others and I went back to hitting dusk Rattata's. Uh Sir!" Draxis replied.

[Moonlost]

Baaz blinked, trying to recall. There were so many in the Dawn back then, it was certainly possible this Draxis was there in some form.
"Well, what are you doing here?" He asked, glancing behind him quickly to look down to the curving staps below.

[BrickWall]

"I was .. uh .. training sir. You passed me on the way up to here. I was under a boulder." Draxis replied realising how dumb this sounded as he said it.

[Moonlost]

"Ah, well, this place isn't safe for you." Baaz replied as he turned around. "Best you head back to your training. I don't want you getting hurt."

[BrickWall]

Draxis looked away as he thought about what Baaz said. Although the Dawn was disbanded, certain parts of it's training still held true to him.
"Sorry Sir, I cant do that. It looks like you're after something terrible and our training states that no one goes it alone. Your stuck with me until someone better comes along. And damn it, you'll still be stuck with me after that too. It does look like your heading to kick down the gates of hell and you'll need someone to hold your cloak for you." Draxis said.
"Now can you please tell me what's going on?"

[Moonlost]

((Blah, the more I think about it now, the more I feel making Baaz run off on his own was a bad idea. Now it just feels like the plot is disjointed from everyone else :< ))

A strange feeling of apprehension washed over Baaz. He didn't like the idea of this little pokemon following him into wherever it was this tunnel lead to. The fewer lives entangled with this Soultaker mess, the better.
"No, I will not have anyone else hurt. This burden is mine alone to bear." He said before bolting down the passage at full burst, leaving Draxis alone in the dark of the passageway.

[BrickWall]

Draxis watched Baaz tear down the passageway, looking more than a little bit confused. He still had no idea what was going on and Baaz's final words did little help help. Draxis shrugged, this was still more interesting that spending all day under a large rock.

Draxis used Rollout ... and then chased after the Arcanine.

((I'm going to be...scarce-er thanks to RL school related reasons. I'm slacking, and that's not the brightest idea when I want to go to college and succeed in life and all that happy fun stuff. So yeah.))

Ivika grinned as she watched the snowball fight in the making. This had pontetial to be interesting.

The absol snarled, as the nightmare started to form, he seemed to be floating in a pitchblack void, only his ghostly eyes showed like burning fire, in the backround you could hear a musicbox playing, the sound of absol puppies excitedly playing.
Then the flashbacks started.
The absol whined knowing what was coming, fear struck every nerve as the flashbacks revealed themselves
There was one absol pup that wansn't playing, its eyes covered with a white cloth
In the nightmare the cloth unfolded itself slowly coming down
to reveal to empty eye sockets, there was absolutely nothing there except those two holes that seemed to stare into your soul Voices in the backround slowly rose up starting at a quiet pace and then humming louder
Ewwwwww! your like a zombie get away get away!
How good will you be for playing with anyway if you can't see?

Draik unlucky poor little draik
He'll never live long! he won't see it coming~
Blind like a bat! hes like a zombie!
He cant battle
He'll lose everytime!
The voices kept going singing and laughing in harmony with the music box "Stop it!" the absols breathing grew harder as sweat poured down his fur
The next horror scene was yet to come..this nightmare wasn't over yet

((Next nightmare will be an explanation explaning the reason he even has eyes))

((*Pokes head around a door and into thread, then waves* Hai peoples! *Falls over* WAUGH! .. Note to self, don't peek head around a door, then try to wave.. It kiiiinda kills your balance...

ANYWHO. I AM BACK! TIME FOR ME TO POST SOMETHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING! Please forgive the certain crappiness of this post.. Not RP'ing for a while makes anything I post really horrible XD))

Ghost blinked, slowing to a stop as an unfamiliar scent reached her. Huh.. Who the heck would be out here? Grumbling to herself, she just continued on.

Eventually, she came to an area where the forest trailed off, leaving a fairly large span of grass.. On the far side of which, a rock stood alon-- Wait, no.. There was someone on it. Okay.. That would explain where that scent came from... Fading, the Umbreon padded closer to the figure, trying to determine just what in the world it was.


((I WOULD do something with Phantom and Rust.. But.. Waugh. So much stuff going on with the characters they're with. Anyone able to give me a run down on the stuff going on with that group? Also... I'm probably not gonna do anything more with that poor little Zorua character I had earlier.. She was pretty epic.. But I have a different character I'd MUCH rather like to use.. A character all of you will might remember from the end of RotS.. *Cackles*))

((Welcome back Senna.
To repost: The Dawn were attacked by the Dusk briefly. As this was happening, Deppy was attacked by an Absol, who claimed to be working for some sort of group intent on wiping out pokemon who were either evolved by the Dusk, or created by Dr. Zhyne. Also, while this was happening Baaz snuck off unseen and ran off, seeking these artifacts himself rather than rish anyone else. Or so he thinks. After the Dusk Left, taking the Absol with thim, Venin, Asher, Arkon, Lark, Deppy and Ivyka (along with anyone else who wants to tag along) went to find out where Baaz went.))

Psychosis jolted upright as the presence he was tracking suddenly disappeared. Odd... He stood up and stretched out his mind in an attempt to find out where the other pokemon went.

[Senna-Umbreon]

Ghost crept closer to where Psychosis was, tilting her head at him. What the... Taking a chance, she stopped and un-faded. "What in the hell are you?" She asked, tail flicking back and forth.

"Grr.. Why can't I fade well?!" Rust grumbled to himself, standing a few feet away from the others. He looked fairly ticked off, and his tail was twitching back and forth. He muttered something, then faded. Well.. Half-faded. No more than a second later, he un-faded and let out a small growl. "Darn it!!!"

((... I'll do something with Phantom next post. Grr. XD))

Psychosis twisted to look at ghost, his long ears perked up as he studdied her.
<A Remku, the evolved form of a Hypno.> He said as he watched her, hopping down from his perch. He twisted his head to it's side as he looked at her, wide eyes staring unblinkingly. <I think I recognise you. One of the Dawn. Not one of the ones who attacked Master though.>

Ghost's ear twitched and she tilted her head again. "Were.. You one of the Dusk?" She asked after a few seconds.
