I was recently on EJ (still shiver when I hear their name) looking to touch up my MM spec and BM spec, and found this Spread sheet: http://elitistjerks.com/f74/t42519-best ... readsheet/
I was rather pleased to see the BM max dps numbers, which is less than 100 dps away from the current SV max dps. Granted, both are a far ways off from MM, but it's still nice knowing that BM seems to be very competitive with SV.

Of course, all these numbers are going to change once they start the cata stat changes and arp goes to Mastery, etc. We may yet see Beasties back on top (on the whole) before too long.

I don't really feel like this is so much the "Post-Modern" era as much as its the "Pre-Zombie-Apocalpse" era. I consider myself more of a forward thinking guy and an era that just won't die is just as feasible as a coming era, where the dead come back.

I don't want BM to wind up on top...the stuff on the top of the heap gets whined and fussed about and eventually nerfed. I just want to be equally competitive with Marks and Survival. If we're all equally competitive in potential damage from spec, then skill and gear can start to shine through.
