Fox and Wolf have Cunning pet health?!?!?!

I'm seeing some inconsistencies with pet health. Is anyone else seeing this?

My observations:
lvl 85 BM Hunter: 4532 stamina (102225 health)

Ferocity pets (all the same talents)
82 Fox
80113 health
85 Wolf
80632 health
85 Spirit Beast, Cat, Raptor, Devilsaur, Corehound, Hyena, Tallstrider
74925 health

Cunning pets (all the same talents)
85 Sporebat, Windserpent, Ravager
80632 health
85 Silithid
94470 health (because of buff)

This must be a bug with wolves and foxes where they get the Cunning health multiplier instead of Ferocity. Has anyone else seen this with Foxes and/or Wolves or with any other Ferocity pets?

I may just be rabbling now, but it really doesn't surprice me that cunning pets may have more health than ferocity pets. Or less. I read your post for the fourth time now, and I'm still not sure about what I'm saying. But cunning could be useful as tanking pets also, can't they? I don't know what I'm saying.

Cunning has a higher health multiplier than ferocity and likewise tenacity has a higher one than cunning.

My point is that some of my ferocity pets (wolf and fox) are using the cunning multiplier instead of the ferocity multiplier. Blizz just recently lvled the armor multiplier across all three pet types but the health multipliers are still different.

I wonder if this means the damage multipliers are different too? O.o Were they the same across the board and has it been changed? I remember someone posting a post insisting that his wolves were doing higher DPS (and damage per hit) than his identically-specced cats, but I can't recall the details.

tested this out as MM spec.

ferocity pets
cat, carrion bird & wasp HP: 81.3K melee dmg: 1000 normal 2000 crit
wolf HP: 87.5K melee: 1000-2000

cunning pets
2 diff bird of prey HP: 87.5K melee: 950-1900

i'm 100% sure that a blue post said all pet stats were normalized so that they all had the same amount of HP, armor, etc, etc...

* Pets now have 70% of the master's armor, rather than a different value based on which type of pet they are.

They only matched armor and not the other stats, but all ferocity should be the same, all cunning should be the same, and all tenacity should be the same.

I hate the official forums but I guess I can try to search/post this there and see if I can get a blue post. I've already got an open ticket in-game for something else.

yep here it is patch 3.1.0

all pets should have +5% to dmg and hp

only my tenacity pets have points in the stam talents. not sure why there is a difference in hp, except another blizz goof up.

I love cunning pets. I truly think they are the unsing hero of WoW. Everybody talks about tenacity and ferocity, but very rarely do people extol the virtues of cunning pets. Personally, my Ally hunter leveled from 10-80 with an owl from outside Darnusses. and I wouldn't have done it any other way.
