You're talking to the person who cried when she ended up releasing one of her pets because he was sitting in the stables and I couldn't use him anymore. I'm stupid that way, really. I get overworked by a game, because my head is all screwed up.

So yeah, I'm not going to like that gengar. As it stands, he's mean in my mind. He may get better at the end, okay. We'll see what happens. But as of now, I am not a fan of him. I may change my mind, I may not. *shrugs.* You like him, awesome. I don't, that's perfectly fine. Let's just agree we have varying opinions, and I'll promise to at least finish the storyline before I sell my soul to the "I hate PMD: Blue Team Rescue Gengar With A Passion" club. I'll just stay in the, "I Really Don't Like You, Mister" club.

I have a feeling I should've like... Jumped into all this Pokemon RP back when it started. XD

I really grew apart from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. I got Eevee as a character and picked Pikachu as my partner... Needless to say, I got stuck at Zapdos... D:

For the same reason why you defend him. :)
He's a game character who has left an impression. Just because his existance is limited to a bunch of code and a few pixels doesn't mean that discusing him or his actions is any less relevant than discussing the actions of anyone from history.

That's different. Hating a character just because he was a jerk AT ONE POINT but is actually not half bad is different than liking a character because he's interesting. (And for me, because he's a Gengar. You guys should know how much I love them...)

And Azu, to be honest, I wasn't really addressing you on the matter. Was talking to Feli.

True, but from what I've gathered (not playing the mystery dungeon myself), once can interperet the character in a few different ways. Is he any more wrong for disliking this character for his wrongs than you are for liking him because of his species and supposed redemption?

Then again, I may be delving a little deep into this. Especially as I have very little clue as to what this is about. XD

That's a matter of opinion. I don't really find him interesting, and I think he's all bad. xDD
I wouldn't really say he was a jerk "at one point," because it was a good 80% or more of the game. The only reason he settles down towards the end is because you've constantly thwarted all of his vain attempts to get you killed, plus he's weaker, and he needs to use you as an escort.

The only part I didn't really catch on to is when he supposedly "saves" you, I've played through the game 3 times and based on his expressions i've always viewed that part as a genuine screw-up on his behalf, (as to say that if he does in fact save you, I think it's entirely done by accident while trying to dispose of you.) It's more probable that the gardevoir is protecting you from him (again).

In any case, it doesn't really matter.. It is just a matter of opinion, and i've always been a solid believer that people don't change, (plus i'm very spiteful.) Perhaps you're a lot more forgiving than I am, in my eyes he never righted his wrongs.

hmmm Maybe I'll look for a used copy of Mystery dungeon for the DS. Wasnt to thrilled with the Advanced games, so never got into the DS versions. I sorta play Ranger, but again, I find it not really my style. I like capturing and training and breeding pokemon. And the main stream games let me do that more then the side games.

Sadly havent had as much free time as I'd hoped to have and several pages of blank paper are still left untouched, my Emerald game Nuzlock...well, i did something stupid and now I've got to start over from scratch. good thing I wasnt to to far into the game. And the hunt for the shiny cannonball is still going on, and every evening laying in bed I run back and forth back and forth....

Today the Pokemon Franchise is 15 years old since it was released in Japan Feb. the 27th in 1996.

(The Franchise didn't come to the US until September 30th of 1998 and oddly before they came to the US I remember Digimon appearing first but probably because of better marketing. Digimon if I recall correctly was aimed at boys and was played on things that resembled Tamagotchi eggs while Pokemon Red and Blue were played on the Game Boy helping Pokemon became the dominate "Collect, Raise, and Battle Monster" game.)

But anywho, my actual favorite games from the Franchise are Pokemon Stadium because I could finally see my precious teams from Blue, Silver and Crystal in 3D and Crystal because I could finally play as a girl.

Here's wishing the Franchise many more years of success.

Moltres was an interesting fight. I had picked up dig, so I spammed that while Buzzard metal claw'd. It was still a close fight. Articuno was the hardest, though. Got me the first go around when I ran out of Oran Berries and Reviver Seeds, thanks to the fight ahead of the time with an iron defense spamming rhyhorn. Second time around, Articuno was mine, though.

The absol was interesting to name. >>; I figured I'll make an RP team in here, and when the absol showed up, I had to think. Definitely not Delora, no way would she ever team up with Buzzard and Solara. Ciro was more likely, but iffy. And then it hit me: Lark! Out of all of 'em, Lark would probably be most likely to join up in a rescue team.

So we're at me, Solara the eevee, Buzzard the charmander and Lark the absol.

Yeah, she probably would join up with them, should she have a reason to.

Ahh 15 wonderful years of excellent franchise. It's just a shame Nintendo only thinks of it as a cash cow. =( I went to the 10th Anniversary in the US at a local malls once. That was indeed fun. <3

Yeah.. I'm actually surprised that they've managed to hold it together for this long, most movies/games that I love (and feel that they have great potential) end up sliding down hill rather quickly. But yeah, Nintendo seems to be focusing more on porting and re-vamping ooold games to the new consoles when they really should focus more on coming up with cool new games/ideas.

Ah well they're the rich ones, not us. X3

Easy answer, Lupis:

Lark wants adventure. Sol, Buzzard and Team Dusk are sure to provide it. :D

And yeah, it does look like they're milking it. Then again, they're doing the same to WoW, so...

So long as people buy'em, they'll keep selling them. Seems greedy, but it is business. I'm still waiting for Nintendo to wake up to the idea of a Pokemon MMO. If they made it pay to play... They'd fecking clean up. >>

I'm considering either starting over my Mystery Dungeon game or... Just selling it. I'm not fond of the series and I'm likely selling my Ranger game as I couldn't beat it either. ><

Ok I'm getting the event Celebi tomorrow for Platinum and HG (Those are my main 4th gen games)

For Pokemon Black and White...I am in the process of devising a team of awesome sauce for each!

Pokemon of the Week: Serperior (With new Perversity ability from the Dream World...Serperior can actually make itself STRONGER with Leaf Storm as Perversity reverses stat changes. This has made Serperior the most popular starter of 5th gen competitive battling. Unfortunately, Serp's aren't in Dream World yet. http://serebii.net/potw-bw/497.shtml)

Whoot! It's good to be back!

I just cleared my name, and I'm home sweet base. I'll admit, I secretly hoped the gengar was the jerk human, but it didn't bother me to mention when he wasn't mentioned as such. Next stop: Groudon. Which will probably make me sad, because it's GROUDON. Any PokeRPer would understand.

I'm glad they don't have Sinnoh legendaries. Don't think I could tolerate killing Dialga. D:

Really don't know if this has been posted but found something really really cool off of Neoseekers for getting pokemon:
There is a random server up that gives you a random pokemon for free. Most of these pokemon are rare.

I was on this server for two hours and these are some pokemon I got:
dialga
palkia
all 4 sets if starters (shiny)
mew
deoxys
darkrai
shiny absol
shiny alakazam
azelf
mespirit
the other one
shiny milotic (my fav by far)
latios
latias
the legendary dogs
and an unfortunately large amount of pikachus and pichus (it'll happen)

Here is how to get to the server
1) start the game (any fourth gen, really)
2) go to wifi settings and turn "auto dns" off
3) on the line below it, put in this number:
65.184.251.130
4)go to the in-game GTS (YOU MUST HAVE A FULL PARTY)
5)when you connect, just wait
6) when the pokemon you received is revealed, an error screen will appear. This is supposed to happen, just continue like normal
7) the pokemon will be in your computer
8) repeat as often as you like

OTHER THINGS:
1) if your pokemon glitches up, just put it in the daycare and take it out.Problem solved
2) as far as I can tell, these pokemon are completely legit. I may not be the one to ask about legitimacy, though, I don't have any real experience checking for hax
3) I don't know how long the server will be up, so get while the gettin's good
4) don't forget to change your "auto dns" back to on when you are done, otherwise, it'll mess up your wifi connection
I tried it with on Platinum myself and so far I've gotten a lvl 100 shiny swampert that knows Earthquake, Waterfall, Avalanceh, and Stone Edge. A lvl 5 Mew that only knows pound. And a lvl 30 shiny Pichu that knows Charge, Volt Tackle, Endeavor, Endure, and holding an Everstone. As for OT swampert had Patrick attached, Mew had FAL2010, and Pichu had SPR2010.

They behave like normal traded pokemon and don't glitch the game when used so it looks like they're legit.
