Seattle PD. Not the policemen as a whole (most of them are admiral people who put everything on the line for us), but the department itself. Yes, you're going to have bad apples. Just get rid of the damn bad apples already! Shoving a handcuffed person's face into the ground with your boot without provocation should warrant you being kicked off the force, yes? Offering to not fire them if they take 6 months without pay shouldn't be an option, correct? Nope, that's exactly what the department offered him (and he accepted). Doesn't the department at least give a damn about the safety of it's officers? Police brutality only breeds more violence towards police, and Seattle isn't exactly a small city (the city parks are the last place you want to be after dark).

Yessss! Right there. I completely agree with you Cialbi. I refuse to go into Seattle unless I have to, and I sure as hell wouldn't go anywhere at night. The one time I was around there at night was okay, because I was in a big group and it was Sakura Con so I'm pretty sure we scared off anyone who might try something, but still. That...just guh. Until they clean up the police force I'm going to avoid the place like the plague if I can. Doesn't help I'm going to have a field trip up there later in the year to go see a play I really don't want to miss.

So went to my Gynaecologist to see whats up. First thing he did was clean up down there. That made me cry inside a bit I mean I washed down there before I went but I must of bleed more getting to the gynaecologist.

Basicly he asked if I have had rough sex (sadly no sex for cow in AGES!) or felt my self down there and if I had long nails (I chew mine sadly). Seems I have a ulcer or tear on my vaginal wall. O.o Don't know how that got there nor does my doc know so he took a bunch of samples and is going to get some tests run on them. He gave me some pills to stop the bleeding thank god but I'm still worryed about it.

Somedays I don't like being a woman. The only good thing that I got from this day is that I'm more likely STD free! Unless its one that does this :S

I wont be sad if you mods think that this post is too nasty for the forum I'd understand.

Senna: Yeah, I live in Sammamish (put Redmond as my location since that's a slightly recognizable town). So close to home that it's almost creepy!

Furiku: Sorry, haven't heard of Wilkenson. I commute to Seattle by bus every weekday, since I attend SPU. It's not as bad as you would think; the worst is having one of my bus stops right in from of a tobacco store that also serves as a hangout for smokers in the inner city. That, and having to deal with the occasional beggar. It certainly helps that I wind up at the busier downtown bus stops, and at relatively busy times.
The real danger is living in Seattle. One student got hit over the head pretty hard by some muggers, and wound up in the hospital. Never did hear how his recover is going.

Cowmuflage: Just because I lack part of a chromosome means I can't feel sympathy? I jest; we really can't understand fully. I can still express sympathy and send well wishes, though.
Well, is it safe to say that the rest of the week has just been ruined for you? Can't help but worry that after healing, this ulcer or tear could start bleeding again during sex (let alone giving birth), given the inexplicable nature of the injury. Poor cowmu indeed.

I completely understand what you're going through, I had something similar happen to me several years ago. Sadly they never found out what caused it, but they gave me some meds that helped clear it up.
