Mazz was the third pet I ever tamed on my hunter and is still my favorite.

A question about new Mazz with family...I tamed him the old way a year ago, but I'm trying to tame him now with my low level alt hunter.
I found only the babies wandering around! Since an hour. No Mazz around, so he's been tamed or killed. The question is: does he spawn where the kids are, or random?

So... I went to tame the flaming boar known as kouen on my baby hunter since I had to make room for the 10 new rares. NPC goes off blaring thanks to mazz. My first thought is tame the pink tallstrider, but with a family I just couldn't.... the person that was giving me a ride to mulgore then proceeded to kill them all =[.

It seems random because when I went to get her to match my mini pet she had just been tamed by a guildie. I to only saw the babies for hours. I followed them and followed them, then circled on my own, followed them more, circled alone etc. Then about three hours later I decided to do another lone circle and leave the babies yet again and boom. NPC Scan goes off and there she was with babies in tow. So at least on that night and from what I've seen she spawns separately.

I think that when she spawns, new babies spawn and the old ones despawn (or maybe just stay?). B/c I've followed the babies around before, then wandered off a bit and ran across Her+Babies, but when I went looking for the old babies, I couldn't find them. So that's my guess.

Btw found, after a lvl 9 hunter killed him...I always had luck with "big" rares and now...anyway, when you tame him, the babies are still around, and I think it's the reason because it hasn't spawned for hours (they were always alone).

I once tamed this beast just to see what it's attack animation is. It runs around headbutting people, I insta-loved and went into BGs just to own people with it. It was glorious, for a while. I abandoned it after a few BGs.

Mazz is whatever gender the individual feels it is.

There should be a minipet where you get all of those babies, or have them follow you around when Mazz is out, because that is just so cute.
