Beloved Common Models

This is one of my favorite skins and also the oldest pet I have. Been with my main since the moment she hit 65 back in BC.



I love bears! This is my main's tank pet, whom I leveled from 22 up to 70 back in BC. I just had to have a bear as a tank pet and it just had to be this skin.


I never really like crocolisks, until I decided to tame this skin on one of my hunter alts. I love it, the face is just so cute imo.


There are other common ones I like too, but these are my three favorites.

I always adored the colors of these owls, though sadly, I never clicked with any of them. My "clicking" methods are weird, but nonetheless, I always wanted an owl like this. If that "Avatar of <Skettis Bird Thing>" was tamable, I'd probably be able to click with him lol.

I have always adored the orange and white tigers in WoW. I don't know why, but I have. My absolute favorite though? Kurzen War Tigers. I dunno why, they're just so cool. I guess in my head I imagine these tigers as more fierce then their counterparts, and once "rescued" from the Kurzen men, they take their ferocity out on those who endanger their master.

Now you may think this wolf looks like any other wolf, but this is my wolf. It barks at ya!
My most fav pets for my alliance hunter is the barking prairie wolf!

I'm going to try to keep this short:


Prettiest owl in the game, IMO. My first betta had colors like this and I loved him. In fact, my owl Aska is named after him.


Piggies! One of my favorite animals IRL (and also a nickname one of my friends gave me, lol).


My favorite carrion bird ever. Sadly I let mine go a long time ago and tried to re-tame him, but couldn't click with him. I ended up taming a green one and bonded with him right away, but the red color is still my favorite.


I've had Tetsusaiga (Echeyakee) almost my entire hunter's life, and the black saber model cat is just...gorgeous.


I always wanted a crocolisk but couldn't get into the vanilla models...then the Cata crocs came along. I really, really like them, and this one is my favorite.


Since KK isn't common, I gotta give second place (but a very close second) to the red devilsaur. My first devilsaur Deathclutch was this model, and someday I would love to tame King Mosh. Have the name picked out for him and everything.


I know Ashtail is popular, but I personally love the white skin the most. But then, I love arctic foxes IRL so it kinda makes sense.


I never really paid much attention to the moth family, until I tamed this beauty on a baby hunter of mine. I immediately fell in love with the color, and I'm not normally much of a blue person. This skin is gorgeous.


For some reason, I can't click with raptors, but I have always LOVED this skin. Maybe it's just waiting for the right hunter alt to tame it.


Kinda cheating with this one since I actually prefer the black and green colors on Madexx, BUT, I absolutely love this model. I even like the bronze color, it just didn't click with my hunter. But I wouldn't hesitate to tame bronze on another one.


I don't use Surge much, but whenever I pass by Silithus or Un'goro Crater, I always find myself pausing to appreciate the yellow silithids. I don't know why, but I find them really gorgeous.


The red is my favorite spider evah, but I really like the green one, too.


I know most would think it plain, but I really like the gray tallstrider. I think it's the bright head and neck that really do it for me. And of course, I have always loved Strider Clutchmother (but now she's on a common mob, too!)


Sheldon!!! Best. Turtle. Ever. I adore this skin, but the red one is not far behind.


The red one is wicked, but surprisingly I really like the blue one, too. I saw it in Vashj'ir in person and thought it was stunning. I may have to get one someday.


I'd like to say it's a tie between these two, but the white one really takes the cake for me. However, the red one is right behind it.


I've only ever tamed it on one hunter, but I think this wolf is the prettiest one out there.

Either way you like works.

It wasn't an option for me when I was using Internet Explorer. I downloaded Google Chrome and now I have the option. So, it might have something to do with the browser you're using.

Ohhh yea ive used Google Chrome on a friends comp and i really dont like it, i love Firefox but i havent gotten around to downloading it since my comp was upgraded to windows 7 like.. forever ago xD

Though they both have rare versions-these guys are my fave of the 'common' pets. The black wolf is my favorite, non-spirit beast, pet in game. Each of my hunters has one.





Are also two that I like.

All my other keeper pets are rares or spawned.

My boy, my Karma, the first ever pet I tamed (excluding the tame quest of course). I love him to bits. He outstrips every other pet I own a thousand fold. Some people aren't too fond of his model or colour which is fine, but to me there's little in game more beautiful/handsome than my Karma. Whenever I see someone with this model I'll always /cheer /wave at them/their pet, but that's very rare... I think I've seen three or four people with it (past level 20 or w/e) since I've been playing, that I remember. o.o

Well, one common skin I absolutely adore but that's generally sorely unappreciated are the grey owls. They're absolutely gorgeous with their black, silver and white feathers and their blue beak! <3



To me, the many colours make them far more stunning than those dull white ones everybody is so crazy about.

There are many more common skins I love, like the condors from Northrend (and now also Loch Modan) that many people find ugly, or the Golden Eagles in Loch Modan, Scarab-coloured beetles, brown coyotes, yellow boars,... the list goes on forever.
