Read what the NPC says, watch my Pounce bleed-debuff, and look on my mouseover! Haha so random that this happened now.

But yeah, it's a little confusing at first because the debuff has the shred icon from what I can tell (Pounce is a daze or something like that--typically used as an opener. The cat druid debuffs are mangle, rake, and rip. I haven't played feral in a while so I'm not sure if shred puts a debuff up now since that looks like the shred icon). I'm just going to assume it's what Lupis said. >_>

Pounce is a move only used in stealth, cat form, from behind. Typically, you use it and it is a brief stun. Shred, which is that icon, puts a lovely bleed up. Mangle, which you use before shred, but after Pounce, increases bleed damage. (It's so shred gets mangle's bleed effect.) and...uhm...rip is the short one, rake is the combo points one, I think.

So yeah, that's shred icon. Even still, kind of don't get it. Ah well. xD

I think the point of pointing out the debuff is to say that it just happened... Got attacked, effectively defended himself, then returned to questing about druids that won't give up.

It's a quest about druids, the the hunter was getting when s/he was attacked by a druid player.

side note: pounce gives a bleed debuff when used, in addition to the stun, that shares icons with shred. shred doesn't give a debuff like that. :B

anyway, that is pretty funny!
