Veeka - W-where am I...? (Elwynn Forest)

Veeka let out a groan and rolled onto her back, muttering something about blankets. She groped around for something to cover herself with, found a fistful of leaves and bolted upright. Where was she again? Blinking groggily, it all came back to her. A lightning wolf. Veeka brand dog kibble. Right.

She gave herself a quick once-over. No bones sticking out, goggles still on her head(albeit lopsided. Gasp!), tool belt still as ungodly heavy as always. A single vial of blasting powder had shattered on the ground to her right, but a small loss and inexpensive enough to replace. How was she still alive? "This doesn't make any-aaauugh ow." Cradling her head in her hands, she wiped the smear of dried blood from her forehead with a grimace of pain. Deep down she knew she probably ran full-tilt into a tree, but passed it off as some near-death escape from the wolf who...did he even follow her? She didn't remember.

She flopped onto her back, trying to judge her location by the leaves on the trees above her. She'd sell her soul for a map right about now. Duskwood - no, no, too bright. Not humid enough for Stranglethorn. Elwynn? ELWYNN! Right, right, she was with Killinger. Killinger the spineless coward who left her for dead. And then she saw the electric wolf, and heard scary noises, and ran, and then...then here. What was here again? Reaching for a sturdy branch, the half-orc pulled herself to her feet with minor difficulty. She tried to swallow, but her mouth was dry. She shut her eyes and tried to stand on her own.

Standing in silence, Veeka mumbled a simple "I'm starving." to the tree she was leaning against.

With some grumbling and effort, she forced her aching body into a walk. Several agonizing steps and one halfhearted hop over a fallen log and she was on the road. Squinting in the sunlight, she stifled a yawn and wandered towards Goldshire. She didn't see any guards - why the heck not? Putting on her friendliest smile(although it hurt to do anything besides grimace), Veeka walked past the signpost with only minor stumbling and mentally translated her words from Orcish to heavily-accented Common, limping towards the small crowd that had gathered. "Greetings, strangers! Do you have any food? I'm hungrier than a pregnant elekk and am nursing a mighty fearsome headache. Please don't kill me, I'm harmless."

She paused, furrowing her brow. Were those the right words? Maybe.

"Food." She repeated, a touch insistently.

Decay - Goldshire

Decay raised an eyebrow at the weird humanoid. Troll? Nah, not the right figure... And horns, seemingly. Accent seemed Orcish... Half-Orc? Perhaps.

"Food's in the inn.", she said, eyeing Veekla again. Right. Dressed up like some gnome too. So, half Orc-Draenei raised by gnomes. Makes sense.

Zaruuk - Goldshire

Zaruuk inclined his head to Azunara, and the other newcomers, as he was introduced. He shuffled about uncomfortably, not liking being in or around such a large group. He was curious to see another of his species in town, even more so when what appeared to be a half-orc moved up to them.
"I have a room upstairs," He said to Azu. "Perhaps we should relocate Kozri to the bed there." He silently hoped the druid took up his offer, which would give the draenei an excuse to peel away from the crowd he now found himself in.

((Sorry for the absence yesterday. Both my brother and I have come down with somethign and have been taking it easy.))

Karzix and Glix - Duskwood

Glix stared up at what sky she could see through the tree canopy. They had arrived in Swamp of Sorrows in the morning. It couldn't possibly be twilight already, could it? Or was the dark sky just another trait of this creepy place? She flinched as she heard the faint howling of a wolf and moved closer to the rest of the group. The roads branching out from the human town were heavily patrolled, possibly because of the recent events. They couldn't risk getting an arrow or bullet through the chest, so they had been forced to take a route through the forest.
Karzix watched the forest around them silently, giving bushes unnerved glances as he swore he saw glowing eyes peering out of them. At the moment they were skirting a large graveyard. An old sign they had passed a moment ago had told him that it was the Tranquil Gardens Cemetery. He snorted to himself. Tranquil, sure. Eerie moaning noises continuously floated to their ears from the graveyard's direction. Karzix had kept a hand on the hilt of his dagger the moment they had seen the place. Whatever was there, it was not feeling tranquil at all.
They sprinted across the road when Glix came to an abrupt stop.
"Now what?" Karzix hissed, nearly colliding into her.
"Do you hear that?" She whispered. He paused, tipping his ears forward.
"Sounds like some wolves." He rubbed the back of his neck as he caught the sound of a very deep growl. "...Real big wolves? They ain't close by; we'll be okay."

Indigosa--Goldshire

Indi smiled at the draenei. "Decay and I weren't a part of the battle--if we were, those damned beasts wouldn't have survived," she said, a wicked grin lighting up her face. "Decay and I went to help when she heard Kozri screaming."

Indi looked over her shoulder at Zaruuk, the poor fellow seemed like he was getting uncomfortable. "'S probably for the best," she said quietly to him.

The druid looked over at Kozri, tilting her head. She nodded, "I suppose. He's dreaming," She stated matter-of-factly, then shifted into her bear form. "I can carry him, if you'd like. Someone might have to put him on my back though."

Myri smiled back at the Deathknight then looked at the sleeping Kozri. "We can put him on your back, but how do you expect him to stay put once you start moving?" She kept picturing the human falling off Azu the Bear repeatedly while trying to get him into the inn. Myri let out a snort of laughter.

The druid paused, thoughtful. "Huh. I'm not sure. Maybe falling will knock some sense into him." She grinned brightly, cackling at her joke.

Indi grinned at the cat druid. "I'm sure Decay would more than love to lift Kozri onto your back and even help you carry him into the in," she said, a teasing tone in her voice.

Tink--Goldshire

The gnome mage was sitting inside the inn by the fire place, reading one of her tomes about the races of Azeroth and enjoying a cup of hot tea. She heard some voices coming from outside the inn but chose to ignore them; from what she had noticed in her brief stay in Goldshire, it usually wasn't anything important.

"Just for that I'm taking him in myself.", she said, trying to get the dragon standing for long enough to get him over her shoulders. ((I can only imagine the pain coming from being carried on her shoulders, based on the huge spikes on her armor. <.<))

Indi chuckled and then stuck her tongue out at Decay, letting herself act childish for a moment.

Azunara looked at Decay warily. "Are you sure? I don't want you to stab him or something..."

"Why would I stab him!?", Decay asked, looking a little shocked.

Azunara shrugged. "Most armor seems to be spiky these days. It's why I'm glad I change forms. No spiky armor for me." She said, flicking her tail. She pricked her ears, listening for a brief moment for any signs of Faron, but was satisfied to find a distinct lack of them.

Myri watched the scene with amusement, but had to wince a little bit when the other Deathknight lifted the sleeping man over her shoulders. "Lead the way," she to told her.

Zaruuk - Goldshire

Wordlessly and swiftly, Zaruuk moved his way past the croud and to the stairs. After waiting for Azu, Decay and Myri to catch up, he climbed up the stairs at a much calmer pace, opening the door to his room for them.
"Here." He said to them, moving to stand outside the room, leaning his back on the wall on the left side of the door.

Finally thinking of a decent the name, the foresaken revealed it "Kumiri, thats what i'll call you" the spider chittered happily about this, using the forasekn's head as a place to rest

Gazz'nil, Razil- Duskwood

Gazz'nil heard the howls not really scared "Y'know I bet a wolf for a pet would be nice of course, if I still kept sabatoth" she looked over at her glaring red raptor,Razil seemed excited, rather also in the mist of inventing something new "If its bigger than a wolf its probably a worgen, I heard bout them a little bit, all I know is that thier wolf men" she seemed excited at this plently of questions filling her head

Shaleza watched, the group her expression untouched by everything but scruffs claws digging into her flesh, she followed hoping that her cat would overcome its fear of space goats soon

Decay put Kozri down on the bed, and then sat down on the ground next to it, nodding to the mage in gratitude. She eyed the worgen suspiciously as it entered.

Tink--Goldshire

Tink raised an eyebrow as she saw a bunch of people come walking through the entrance of the inn and head upstairs. That's an awfully large party of people for these parts, she thought to herself. Perhaps she'd have to listen in on the local gossip more.
