My goodness Rarako, I've never experienced anything like that, and I can't imagine what it would be like to have that happen. :(
Unfortunately the only advice I'd be able to offer would be to see a doctor as soon as you're able.

I could stand to lose 20-30 lbs in order to get back to my pre-baby weight and although it doesn't sound like a ton, I FEEEL like a cow. And because I feel shitty I don't want to go workout because I don't want other people looking at me when I feel like this. I've never been a heavy set person so this is killing me. Have any of you petopia mom's defeated The Baby Weight?
I wouldn't worry so much about numbers on a scale, but instead on trying to do more healthy things, like being more active and eating more fruits and vegetables. I recommend walking. It's something you can do with your children (with a stroller for younger ones), doesn't require anything other than a good pair of shoes, and gets you out in the cheery sunshine. Many people also find it easier to meditate while walking rather than using traditional still postures.

Thanks guys. I also need to find an outlet for my insane stress (unrelated to previous mentioned child) so I may try and find a work out that takes care of both the stress and weight loss.
Also, I wouldn't want any unhealthy tips on how to lose weight! As much as I'd like to never eat and look like a supermodel.... I like my health.

When I feel stressed I like to go for runs. It gets my mind to calm down and lets me focus. Is that something you could try?

How about weightlifting?
It was the only thing that ever got me close to work out stress, and it feels good afterwards. Apart from those times where I couldn't get the technique right at all, I would just get mad. And then my S.O would get mad because I was mad. xD

I don't know if this goes in the right topic or not, but it's worth a shot. It may or may not be caused by my b/c thingie, which is Implanon, an implant. Which I've used since November btw. Anyway, thing is my body temperatures. It shifts like there's no end to it, and I often turn off all heaters in my apartment because it gets too hot, while my skin is still icy cold, though not colder than my hands if I compare. The annoying part is when I all of a sudden get very warm and it feels like I'm overheating. It goes away after a few minutes, but every day is like that, several times a day. You get tired of it after a while. If I start to feel cold on the other hand, putting on more clothes makes me instantly uncomfortably warm. Is this normal? :P

If you have a game system you could always try your hand at Dance Dance Revolution. The games normally aren't that expensive and the pads are about $20 tops. You'll be able to exercise without having to be away from the little one, plus all of mommy's wild flailing might keep them entertained to boot. The dancing gives you a good amount of exercise but also provides the ability to challenge your self with the difficulty levels so you can have fun while your at it. I've have a few friends over the years use DDR as a workout plan and had a lot of success just because they don't see it as a chore or something they "have" to do. Always worth a shot. :D

@ Miyon: That sounds really odd. What your describing sounds close to fever like symptoms which you shouldn't be getting from BC as far as I know. Have you talked to your Doctor about it yet? It might be something as mild as your body adjusting to the meds or as concerning as an allergic reaction to it. If all else fails, try a different kind of birth control to see if your body handles it better. Hope it stops soon.

It is for me. I have no idea if it is for other people. I used to tell people that I was half-reptile and lacked the normal mammal thermoregulatory systems.

Do you by any chance have very low blood pressure?

My husband used to DDR every day. My coordination is too bad - I stopped the second time I fell and hurt myself - but he adored it. (Until he broke his $200 professional-weight dance pad and then broke his foot when he was using the temporary pad.)

Miraga wrote:Does anyone else have trouble orgasming unless everything is "just right"? My boyfriend and I could mess around all day and I could feel amazing but my body would be like "NO. NOT GOOD ENOUGH." and I would just end up frustrated. I've been thinking about it a lot lately and I've narrowed it down to two things: 1) not being relaxed enough (I don't do anything to myself ever... never have and I don't know why. guess I just gave up and convinced myself I was "broken" after my ex couldn't make me fee anything ever) and 2) possibly anorgasmia due to being on fluoxetine/prozac. Sometimes if I can get myself to totally relax and he gets it just right it feels amazing but a lot of the time it just makes me tense up because I want sex more, rofl. I feel so weird. Does anyone else need to really relax and focus on the sexual stuff at hand to really feel good or am I crazy??
I orgasm from vaginal probably about 99% of the time - but the problem is that I have to fantasize about sexually-depraved things in order to do so. Just laying there and "enjoying the ride" doesn't do it for me. It used to when my husband and I first started having sex about 7 years ago (he was my first, hopefully my last too). But now, it's like I have to think of zoophilism (I think that's the word?) or weird hentai-like things or homosexual (female/female specifically - male/male doesn't do it for me) things. The thing is, I'm not actually any of those things. I don't find myself attracted to the female body in a sexual way (I have thought things like "Wow, she has great boobs, I'm jealous," or "Dang, that's a nice butt!" but not in a way that makes me want it). I don't actually want to have sex with animals, etc. But fantasizing about disgusting things like that does it for me, I don't know why. : / I feel like there must be something really wrong with me in the head if that's what does it for me.

Oral sex is totally non-exciting for me. I'll let my husband do it to me because he enjoys it, but he knows that I derive no pleasure from it. I suppose it's fun for a couple minutes, but after that I really just want the real thing. Even finger sex doesn't do anything for me. In fact, unless I do it to myself, I don't really enjoy it at all (the clitoris is not a freaking button you have to mash!). I very much enjoy giving my husband oral though. He doesn't even have to ask about half the time. I don't know why, but I love doing it.

I'm pretty open to most things but anal is out of the question. I have been in the bathroom wiping (totally innocent) and noticed that it felt oddly good to have minor pressure applied there, but I think that's about the extent that I could handle.

And one thing that really turns me on - watching my husband masturbate. I didn't realize I'd find it appealing til we were taking a shower and he had to wash his man-parts. I was like hey....do that again! Use soap this time! Hrm.

That is all. Any thoughts as to why I have to think of perverted things in bed to orgasm? :(

There is a difference between fantasizing about something and acting on it. :P

A lot of 'fantasies' are things that can be done without too much trouble, but that doesn't mean that's the only kind of fantasy. Truth be told I'd imagine zoophilia is one of the more common fantasies, and I imagine it has something to do with the raw power and general unpredictability of an animal. That and dogs don't bitch at you to take out the trash or get the remote and they cost a damn sight less than husbands.

Then you have the people into guro or unbirthing and they never act on those, either - the art is everywhere, yeah, and hentai probably has the latter two covered pretty well(although if you've looked at any WoW art the zoo crowd has it out for hunters pretty hard - Loyalty Level Six(no boobies showing or anything though it is nudity) anyone?). But I guess what I'm saying is no, if you get off on bestiality fantasies that doesn't make you any stranger than the little old lady who thinks fantasizing about being cut up and fried totally rocks her world. People are wired in strange ways and what turns you on, turns you on, but that doesn't give you free reign to act on it in real life. As long as you don't act on it, everything is fine and dandy.

I sometimes think of girls when I'm haveing some alone time. I can't do it by myself with out thinking of something. Thinking of things is fine but thinking off them 24/7 is not! but I'm sure you don't have sex 24/7!

Hm.. It may have been like that forever, I know I have always had cold hands. I may not have noticed before, at least before I moved in with my love. He likes to keep the temperature pretty high. Before I moved out from my mom, my room was always cold. I might actually be very bad at adjusting to temperatures. I can't just undress and sit and play wow or browse the web naked either, though he doesn't have any objections. :p

Rarako, I've never heard of such a thing, but given how sporadic it is I'd really, really, REALLY recommend starting the long-haul with the doctor now. It could be something totally benign, or common, or easily treatable, or all three-- but the sudden "attacks", and their severity, really gives me pause. I'd wonder if you don't have some kind of acute circulatory issue, or maybe nerve problems, that show up super-fast but right themselves just as quickly (meaning testing after the fact, especially when the doctors are scratching their heads over what it could be, would probably yield nothing useful). Or... shoot. I really don't know, I'm no doctor and I can't remember ever reading anything like that in my idle popsci perusing. It just sounds awfully severe to me, and the way it happens so abruptly... please go to a doctor as soon as you're able, please please! Start with a general physician if you can, ideally one you know/trust/is good at listening, and ask them what systems could be involved. Get multiple opinions if you have to, bring someone with you for support and an extra set of eyes/ears/brains to make sure the doc is thorough, and I wish you luck!

I don't get it...but now I do, because I realized it was all in my head and I was just paranoid from sleep deprivation! No thefts here!

My stuff came in about two weeks ago. Due to some body difficulties the more expensive bits were unceremoniously shoved into a shoebox and hidden under my bed - I kept the vibrator in my underwear box and some batteries under stacks of paper, which in retrospect is pretty damn predictable. I spent the entire day out with my mom, and before I lay down I see that there's clothes thrown all over my bed. The batteries are gone, my underwear box is open, and shit's been dragged around. The shoebox is empty.

WTF, world? I was in the same room as my mom 99% of the day. I haven't slept in a good 24 hours and I was in here until 8 am when mom woke up and we moved out into the living room. I don't think she took anything. If she did she would have said something. I thought the shoebox was my dog's fault, but can a dog steal batteries and dig through a box on a desk five times her height? It all makes no fucking sense. None of my other family members have been in my room - no one has been in at all, today. Unless something went down when I was out raking the yard for all of an hour, the entire situation has me completely lost. I'm not angry or embarrassed, just...really fucking confused, to the point where it makes my stomach turn. For all of the preaching of openmindedness to sexuality mom did, if she was the one who took the stuff from my room...I don't even know. I'm an adult now. Could I please be treated like one, especially when it comes to theft of my property? I don't even want it back, I just want to know why you up and jacked it for no good reason. No one has lectured me or pulled me aside or frowned at me or anything.

On the bright side, nothing that was confiscated was actually in use and nothing of value was actually taken. It's still damn annoying though. If you're going to trash my room looking for dirt on me, at least clean up your mess.

Wow Nubhorns, that is.....just sad. Someone had to have known that you received something, but how? And who? >.>

You know, what I don't get is that even if they're uncomfortable with the idea of you having a sex toy (which is perfectly fine, not only are you 18 but your business is your business), isn't that still better than the alternative? As in, you sleeping with anything and everything you can because you are in the mood?; risking pregnancy and diseases and God knows what else? I think getting a sex toy is a very responsible thing for a young adult to do. But maybe I can say that because I'm not a parent.

I hope the situation either blows over or that you find out what happened and can talk it over with the person responsible. I'm really sorry. That's just so asinine!

And thank you for your support of me earlier, it meant a lot. I thought about deleting my post because I felt like a weirdo, but you made me feel a lot better. ^.^
