Need a pet for interrupts (PVE)

So I've got most of my pet line-up set for PVE (Barnabus, Shy-Rotam, the Death Ravager, and a yellow Outlands raptor), but I'm not sure what to get for the fifth. I'm thinking I want something for interrupts, though, since I'm SV/BM. I'm not sure what would be the best option, though - I just know I refuse to use a gorilla, they bug me way too much, and I'd prefer to avoid tenacity if there's a good choice that's cunning or ferocity.

...I'll also admit, I'm still not 100% sure on how stuns function as an interrupt; I've never really been able to find any info on just how reliable that is (i.e. whether they work on bosses). So would I be able to use a pet that stuns, or just one with a straight interrupt?

Couldn't agree more Ache! Moths will smart cast their interrupt if you don't wish to micro-manage it. Gorillas will do the same, and on a shorter cooldown, but their tenacity and won't do as much damage. A nether ray is another alternative, however, you'll have to micro-manage its interrupt or it'll cast it willy nilly.

If you want a stun pet, I'd suggest a wasp over a bat personally, but if you're looking for an end-game PvE interrupt, I'd use an interrupt pet over a stun pet just in case the stun doesn't work like an interrupt.

I actually became pretty fond of the Moths when I had a white one named Arthur. xD He was almost tamed as more of a silly joke but he quickly appealed to me. I didn't have room in my stables to keep him sadly, but I'd recommend giving them a try. You might be surprised by how charismatic they are. :3

Moth or nether ray. Gorillas have a smart auto-cast, but they're tenacity pets, so you'd be missing out on those talents.

I have one for interrupts and she's great for taking out casters and that silence is smart-cast. I never need to micromanage it. Not as high DPS as my spirit beast because of the agility buff, but very useful! I love my Masha...

netheray will pretty much meet all ur pvp needs with one of the shorter int cds and its a range interrupt


and u can get a green one /blue to match ur armor nicely

They want one for PvE, not PvP. Also, the nether ray's interrupt has to be micro-managed otherwise they'll cast it whenever they want. Not always the easiest thing for everyone--sometimes it's easier to have a pet that knows when to cast it on its own.
