Recently, I took it upon myself to camp the TLPD, and during my two week camp, that daily quest was one of the few things keeping me engaged. If the drake didn't show, hey, maybe I'd get a bear today! Well, turns out the bear was more elusive. I was finally able to snag the drake and for one fleeting second, the notion of never having to come back to this now loathsome zone of Northrend made me ecstatic. But then I remembered the bear. After all that time staying in one place, the last thing I wanted to do was return to Storm Peaks day after day for a ground mount. However, every day since I have flown out to that remote icy village, bitter but resolved, to whack six Vrykul in return for a bag of spoils.
Today I went out, as usual, completed the quest, and continued on about by business. Two hours later, I was farming Volatile Waters in Twilight Highlands when I opened my bags to check my progress and discovered I had yet to open my spoils. I thought to myself, "HA. Watch me get it today. The one time I don't open it immediately, and the bear has been hanging around for hours."

Yep. Of course. I'm just thankful I never have to see the frozen lake again. Ever. You have been good to me Storm Peaks. Two awesome mounts and a magnificent pet, but it's time we parted ways.
