I think there needs to be a rare sporebat introduced into the game, and then Mania should use that one as a icon

I like the idea of orange/red pets, shango, terrorpene, chitter look amazing and striking against the green. The saber is kinda fading away into the background from its dull pale colors while the orange/red pets mentioned here and also un-mentioned ones that are on the beastiary thing page lol, they draw the eyes to them and i think it would be a nice spash of color to a very green forum (i changed the colors on my account to that pretty silver-like color, i likes it ^^)

I'm with you for the most part! Trust me, I love how outlandish they look! (no pun intended... ok, maybe a little intended)

I Just have had Deadbone (my diseased wolf) since I started WoW. And I;ve always been a fan of Devilsaurs just because I love the RL things they're based on (T-rexs, for those whom were wondering >.>)

But yeah, my vote is still sporebat!

I would say either Chitter or This Guy:

That cat is superbly striking, his eyes match the Petopia color *and* he's one of the beasts brought in, I'm betting, at least partially because Petopians (and Wain) are determined to tame EEEEEEVERYTHING

Otherwise, I think it should be either a Cat or a Wolf. They're what I would think of as representing Petopia pets in general--everybody has one, and they're the most easily-recognizable as WoW beasts and in particular Hunter pets.

Edit--or this:

Striking & highly-recognizable, unique skin/pet (representing our forever-rare-hunt), high-res and beautiful, was (well, the family was) once a very popular hunter's pet and still easily connected with WoW & hunters, and has green stripes to almost match the Petopia colors. Also probably brought back at least in part due to our clamoring

I'd LOOOOOVE to see this guy for the mascot, i tamed her and named her Huine which i believe is elvish for 'Darkness', im obsessed with her <3 Lol i can already imagine her chewing on the scroll that the ghostsabers carrying in her mouth xD

Yeah, the more I think about it the more I like the idea. Thematically it's a perfect fit imo--make it my first choice
