A long camp for Jadefang

Just yesterday i woke up at about 9 am and the first thing i did was login to world of warcraft and did some random heroics got Nautilus Ring and then decided to do some therazane dailies (temple of earth is my new hearth after i got Deep into Deepholm) so i took the portal and got my usual dailies cuz at the time i was bored had nothin to do and thought if im gonna go see if jadefang is there i may as well kill some time, right around 4 pm i heard npcscan go off and i was like omg yes but there was no daily to get bombs so i was lookin up ways to do it and found that there is a really hard to do way you would have to start flyin in and disconnect the ethernet cord right as ur goin in( it disconnects quickly and i still had expert riding so i was like omg) and eventually a lil bit later he was gone.

I was about to do my dailies when i spotted an orc hunter with bombs so i asked him if he could do me a favor and he said he was busy but i told him i just wanted to get to the tunnel where jadefang is so i get up there and its empty still, after a while of waiting and doing random /dance emotes he eventually says its time to go and i ask to see his pets so we meet back at temple of earth and show off each other's pets and he had all the spirit beasts, jadefang and even king krush the two main pets i so desperately wanted most.

he is about to leave again so i ask him if he could get me up there again so i can camp and i offered to give him money( i was saying in general chat i would pay for anyone who could help me) but he said it was no problem and left most people would have asked for it but he was nice enough to take time out of his day to help me, one hour later around 5 pm i waited and thanks to the posts here on petopia i was able to comfirm that it was a 6-14 hour timer then it occured to me i could have my alts camp the other rares and since i was gonna wait another 5-13 hours i may as well use my time wisely so i sent my two 81+ toons to camp the other rares my 83 dk to uldum and my 81 lock to sholazar basin.


When they were in position it was 2 hours away from the 6 hour spawn time so i switched and then i detected people above below and behind me and i heard gunshots thinking omg someone is killin jadefang(was afk on my other computer watching youtube videos etc) so i came back to see that it was a hunter on the other side of the tunnel behind the wall, i got so obsessed that when jadefang spawned again at 11 pm(my back was against the wall i didnt notice it)(also the sound didnt go off again) i thought that it was somethin i typed so i went crazy when i realized it was the real deal and i instantly abandoned my temp pet m0thrfukr(all i could use sadly) to start taming and for those 10 seconds my heart was racing faster then ever then when it finally happened i was like OMG WOOT JADEFANG!


I told my friends and stayed awake up untill 1 am then slept untill 9 am today then headed out from deepholme(therazane's throne-temple of earth-orgrimmar-feralas) and tamed Qirot and that ends my 7 hour long camp of boredom and good luck to everyone still tryin to get jadefang :3

Hello again id like to make another announcement after nearly 15 hours of camping from 10 am to 1 am i managed to have npcscan go off right as King Krush appeared, i used my macro for abandon pet and bestial wrath getting rid of my old devilsaur.

I hadnt realized that the beast within no longer granted immunity to fears, charms, etc so i was feared and tried again another fail so on my third attempt farunn almost got in my way(Glimmering Pillar) i used deterrence and for some reason managed to get down to 5 secs.

i thought for sure i was about to fail like the last time being left with 1 second and then being feared away as (usually) an alliance toon would kill it but to my surprise instead of a fear i saw king krush appear by my side shrinking down to normal size and finally after over a year of waiting i finally tamed King Krush!
Idk if it was the luck charms or what but ive been real lucky lately also to note since i no longer have my green madexx charm up i got to witness the horror of one killed before my very eyes(not green but still).

P.S.
again i wish everyone luck in taming king krush and the others, use the charms i think they really work,
also we should have more luck charms in my honest opinion not just for rares but for spawns, and instance/difficult to tame ones as well like chrommagus, death ravager, gezzarak etc

Congrats!! Yea i dunno whats up with the charms but a lot of you guys are having awesome luck and some of us arent much at all sadly xP For those that are getting lucky though thats eeeepic 8D Krush is so cute and green <3 favorite dino of the game

I abandoned my king krush today. I only had 2 more spaces left in my stables so I thought it was time to purge. I knew I would never use him.. still sucks letting a pet go though. =(

thats how it is the 25 pet limit is enticing but when it comes down to it we all have to make sacrifices k blizz now let us use up to 3 active pets at one time and increase stable size to 50 thx bai! lol
