Sadly I already tried that and ended up giving up - that's what made me abandon said netbook in the first place. XD I just wanted to get it to work, so XP was the easiest choice.

You didn't try hard enough. :D

I think I remember you telling me you were installing Linux on it, though. :P

In about three hours, I took my level 71 rogue from "so... guess I have talent points, huh? Maybe I should take off my dress" to "solo-ganking the enemy flag carrier in WSG while he stands with half a dozen buddies in his graveyard."

Of course I got the flag back.

Holy!

Okay, this isn't an achievement per se, but rather some extreme luck. I decided to use the extra mats I had lying around to create 9 Mysterious Fortune Cards to use myself. The 8th was the epic quality Fortune Card!

Yes I did, and even took part in the conversation after the incident. ;)

Edit: Also I switched my main's second profession into Alchemy and leveled it from scratch in just one day. ^^ Didn't even spend more than 4k gold on the mats, most of it I farmed myself. Now my main is a happy Transmute Alchemist with her fancy epic trinket and Flask of Enhancement, ready to start making some (true)gold tomorrow.

Woot, gz! It's so rewarding to finally get some results out of the grind. ^^ I remember when I did that before Cata, it was rather tedious. <.<

Me and my friend hit 1550 in 2v2's in arena, snagging the achieve. But right before the achievement i typed in guild

We can make it if we try

then we got the achievement so it said

We can make it if we try
JUST THE TWO OF US
You and I.

Kinda nerdy, but i liked doing that D:

I now have enough watchers on dA that you havta click "all watchers" to see who watches me. A really silly accomplishment for sure, but I've always wanted that to happen. Makes me feel special and loved. *shrugs.*

My main got her most recent rare Archaeology project back in early January, and was stuck at 18/20 for "It Belongs in a Museum!" for the length of time between then and now (so almost four months, really). I guess having more than one project per race left helped (six? projects were added to Troll, Fossil, and Vrykul in 4.1), because last night I procced one of the new fossil projects, and while I was tiredly weaving around EK looking for fossil sites, I procced one of the two new troll projects too—neither was the new pets, but that's okay. I told myself I wouldn't stay up and finish out both, but both of them completed within five minutes of each other (EPL troll site got me to 64/100 fragments + 3 keystones, and I was missing two fossil fragments from a WPL digsite to get to 100 for the amber).

Hooray, nerdpoints! I probably won't use the title beyond the next couple of days (Epadoa the Insane could only fit more if I could find a way to swap the names of my shaman and my druid so I could go back to actually being Xella :x), but still. Yay!

(I still wish it was gender-dependant and I could be a Proffessora tho :()

Woo!

Alternately, you could drop out and be a certified college dropout.

I would also be certified to have my Mom yell at me for wasting her money! O__O I would also feel obligated to make myself a dropout diploma... maybe with some macaroni and glitter...
