Vlador needs a Tenacity pet

Vlador is in need of a Tenacity pet. I really like the cataclysm crocs so i had Ripscale in mind but im wondering if, through other peoples eyes, i could find another pet incase i dont like Ripscale or i need a change. Suggestions? Im free for anything between lvl 1-50.. he is lvl 32 after all and will start to need a tenacity pet around 40's or so when they finally can hold aggro. Im open to anything that is not Exotic.

There's Ghamoo-ra the ancient sea turtle in BFD, and those black beetles in ZF.

A bear would be a great option, since they will be able to tag multiple mobs and keep them off of you, as well as mitigating damage. But, any pet will do, unless you go with a crab and want to get any use out of the special ability (Kill Command will interrupt Pin, so BM hunters and Pin/Lock Jaw are a bad matchup).

A note on Ripscale; the beast won't always spawn as a level 37; he can spawn as high as level 39. I can personally testify to the latter. Great pet if you ask me; no random hissing outside of combat, and has green eyes with a slight hint of glow, as if they're green with envy or filled with malice.

If i go with a bear... im gonna have to go with white for the contrast and yessss i adore Ripscale, ive had Gosh-Haldir and Mahamba so i know i'll find Ripscale to be quite nice <3 lol he spawns at 37-39? that sucks... least i got 2 pieces of BoA gear

Beetles are awesome! I think he'd go well with the red or black beetle. :3

The beetles have been growing on me since i tried out the blue/purple Uldum one ^-^ im thinking of getting that little tiny one from Naxx when im able to solo it... which will be forever lol

Pfft, don't wait until then! I'm sure some of the Petopians on WA would be willing to make a small raid with you, so that you can all get your itty bitty beetles. Can't remember what faction most of the Petopians on WA are, though

Yeah, I don't think it's soloable with current levels of gear ^_^ Just one other person will do the trick though.

I like turtles myself. They are not as noisy as the beetles but have the same shell protection that the beetle does. Along with cower, they are extremely hard to kill.

Most of my Tenacity pets are exotics or too high level for you (i.e. Warp Stalkers/Worms/Shale Spiders), but I absolutely LOVE my colour-changing croc =3 and I've got a turtle on both my hunters, Terrorpene on my main and a lovely white one from Thousand Needles for my tauren ^^ Turtles are definately a good all-rounder for tanking, because of their special ability, but I've grown quite attached to my croc, so if you get bored of Ripscale, I definately say try a turtle!

The green rare beetle from the barrens are 34 I belive, Gamoon ra is always a safe bet if you grow tired of Ripscale

Yea now im thinking Ghamoo-Ra and Ripscale till im able to get Gezzerak the Huntress. Ive started using her instead of Jadefang again on Xakaal and i love her soooo much <3<3<3 shes a planned tenacity pet for all my players once they are able to summon and survive the encounter

Yeah, I don't think it's soloable with current levels of gear ^_^ Just one other person will do the trick though.

You can solo it, took me 3 tries, you just have to tame a bear below naxx, spec it for full survival, keep heals on it.
Then you md the nerub that spawns and nuke it down fast. After the nerub dies, move anub to the far other side of the room and wait for him to summon them. When he summons them, abandon the bear, pop deterrence, and start the tame. You might die after, but you will have the beetle.

^ Did this at 85 in mostly blues, bear was 82.
