Re: Gorebite
You can still tame him by having someone else initiate the quest. You could try standing near the Pit of Scales and asking in zone General, or see if a friend hasn't done it yet.

Re: Gorebite
I belive the quest is called Pit of Scales. I made the same misstake but thankfully a buddy of mine had an alt that were still leveling in Uldum so they allowed me to get him while they were taking care of the npc.
We were grouped up but I dont think you have to be to get the croc.

Re: Gorebite
After you've completed the quest, the best way to yoink Gorebite is to simply camp the area or ask in general if anyone's doing it (if you've no friends who're on the quest, that is!). Can't remember which exact pen he spawns from, but when he does, simply try to sneakily-tag 'n' tame! While it's best to ask the player first, I'm sure they won't mind: Gorebite's not needed for the quest and there's already several other crocolisks for the other player to contend with!
It might take a while though, Uldum's questing traffic has died down a tad since launch.

Re: Gorebite
Gorbite spawns in the pen on the right-hand side (the one Caimus is facing). All you need to do is sit in the middle of the pen and wait for someone to start the event. Place a freezing trap while Caimus is yelling to catch Gorbite when he spawns
The trap is vital; otherwise the croc will run off and attack whoever started the event thus breaking the tame. He also dies easily so pulling him off is difficult.

Re: Gorebite
It actually changes : / When I was camping the area, the first guy to do the quest tagged him asap and he came from the side directly across from the prisoner/captor. So I laid my trap there and was all ready the next time, and he slinked in from the left side (facing the dias) >.>
So it's kinda hard to ninja-tame it, as I've had to learn first-hand
Best to ask around and make sure you get a willing participant from your faction, rather than wasting hours sitting there like I did!
