I have a question. Rose just hit 15 and I queued her into a dungeon. Someone else from WRA with MRP running was there and told me to change Rose's race to Sin'Dorei (instead of leaving it blank for blood elf) so I didn't look as crappy as all the other blood elf RPers. Now, I did it just because I didn't want to get into an argument with someone, but my question is, does it really matter? RP wise Rose is a mercenary and if she had to associate herself with something, she would associate herself as a blood elf.

Blood Elves can call themselves either, and as long as they're not talking Thalassian all the time they call themselves Blood Elves. In Thalassian they would refer to themselves as Sin'Dorei though, since that essentially means blood elf (Children of Blood actually, or something like that, but it's an elf language which means that it breaks when translating. Yeah, I'm a nerd.).

So if I have her speaking in Thalassian, she's Sin'Dorei, but in Orcish and whatever languages she might know, I can refer to her as a blood elf?

And a death knight training a feral druid, lawls. She'd get better training from Willowe or Azu. Totally joking, by the way since I suppose it could be possible in RP...I guess

Hehe, lore nerd I am. But yes, in thalassian she's Sin'Dorei, in Orcish she's a blood elf. Not that I would complain if you wrote blood elf in Thalassian, though, since, well, it means blood elf in Thalassian.
