I have to disagree with you there, Tyuriwen. The Black Drake is very nice!



My guildies surprised me last night with a birthday party in Thunder Bluff, after which we went on a OS raid, just for the fun of it. We wiped like 10 times (have to work on guild raiding -_-), but my boyfriend won the roll for the Black Drake, and gave it to me as a present!

I'm so happy to have such nice guildies! I hope to be able to help them all get Black Drakes of their own eventually.

Yeh so this has been a pretty productive month so far! Got TLPD on my DK, one of my bindings for Thunderfury finally dropped after what seemed like forever, and then today, after a pretty exhausting day, I decided to get my Skadi run over with. To my complete shock, he finally dropped my mount! I've been running it for eons since WotLK and never saw it drop once. I was pretty happy! (<---understatement)

Bryn told me I should run VP, and I was planning on it to push my luck. Hearthed, took my Gezzerak out since I missed her, and decided to see how she fared as my tank. She did well, first run nothing amazing dropped, then bam, second run, Drake of the North Wind dropped! I screamed out loud in shock. I mean 2 drops in one day? What are the chances? Told the significant other we should get lottery tickets, and one of my officers suggested the same, but it was a little late. Man... I'm still in shock haha

I'd been completely ignoring WoW due to playing so much Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.. But when I woke up today, I decided to log WoW instead. After taking care of my AH stuff, I figured I could do Skadi - it's not like there's anything more productive to do alone at 9 AM. Wormhole over to Howling Fjord, fail miserably at the trash (managed to break my Camo TWICE! :P) and even more so at Skadi by accidentally wasting my harpoons. Kill Skadi, feeling rather pessimistic, run over to loot... O_O

So.. For the past couple of days I've been camping for Aeonaxx pretty much non-stop: yesterday I spent more than 12 hours online, simply floating at the coordinates 44,49, occasionally taking a quick round to check the spawn points out of range. I was planning on staying up all night, but everything started going pearshaped and I just had to go to sleep or suffer the oncoming panic attacks.

Long story short, after another 8 hours of camping today, I was modifying my unitframes, when NPCScan went nuts - Aeonaxx was flying in a circle right below me! This was one of the very few times when a 310% flying mount just wasn't enough, but after what felt like an eternity the arrow turned green and thus he was mine! I didn't even bother with the adds, as their damage was so miniscule - what little they were able to do to me was quickly healed with a single healing potion.

So today was a long day. I went farming Anzu regularly like always. And like always it still didn't drop. I hadn't farmed Magister's Terrace in awhile because I was dedicated to getting Anzu first (that bird was haunting my dreams). For some reason, tonight's drop really bummed me out at the fact it didn't drop. I guess cause I'm sitting at 50+ kills and 3 people I know got it in their first 4 runs @_@

Anyways! So I decided to run Magister's Terrace. I head over, kill my way to Kael'thas and before I enter the room I'm like "Man, it'd be sweet if Kael'thas gave me his hawkstrider." I go in, kill him, begin to loot. I notice hey, there's 2 epics in the window, but there's another page to the loot window. I tried not to get my hopes up but then I covered my eyes and clicked down.

And there it was. The hawkstrider icon. I screamed OMG about 4 times into my guild and flailed my arms. I looted so fast I couldnt get a screenshot. But now, I am one super happy NE hunter!!! <3

This might be late but on sunday we did a guild run of OS and our gl won the Black drake. So gratz to fey!

Okay okay, this is actually a real nice mount accomplishment... Got a whole lot of people mad at me.

To start off, I randomly decided to play my lvl 47 warlock that I don't really touch all that much... Just random "Hey! Let's do an instance!"
Strathholm came up, the Scarlet side. The parties just talking, and someone asks "Doesn't a mount drop here?"
And there goes the conversation on the Baron's skelly horse... Stories of how these people's mains got it in 100 runs, or only 20 runs, etc.

And so, I get the idea "HEY! Why not just go into Strath and see what I can do... Run it a few times..." I'm a very unmotivated person and get bored easily, so I was already predicting I'd do no more then... 3 runs.

But in I go on my hunter... Bored out of my mind as I 1 shot undead... Get to the Baron... Dead... Look...

Not only did I get the mount on my first run, I also got his epic sword too...
I pissed a few people off with that. >_>
