This is Chisum he is a lab mix from the pound. though mom thinks he is purebreed, fiance thinks lab.golden retriver. he is 2yrs old and just got him from the pound yesterday. he was a owner turn in, and sadly is under weight and you can tell he had a coller on that was way to tight and left on 24/7 becuase of his fur on his next is indented and shorter then it should be D: he was tunred in this way . He is a great dog very loving and just wants love and attentino and to cuddle which he is WAY to big for my bed if everyone ( me cy fiance adn my other dog winter are on the bed) xD i mean he COULD but it would be real crowded lol. he always runs to cy is he is crying to see what is wrong. he is very well mannered as well he was fantastic and the vet today. he has kennel cough sadly but we got meds for it. cant do to much for the cough becuase of the fact it helps get all that mucas out. though the hacking keep sme up at night which has been leadig to me getting dizzy and being off all day xD lol but he is worth it feel so helpless at times though D: he is a real talll dog he comes up to my waist when he sits and im between 5'3-5'5. winter is slowly warming up to him since she is used to being the only dog in the house and him and Mao ( my cat) get along great he honestly doesnt even bother her, its like she isnt even here to him LOL though he does give her kisses when she comes in the house frm the backyard LOL. here are the pics of him the pound posted of him on facebook, ill get more of him at home when ihave time and my brain isnt so mush xD we will start beginner traning classes on the 18th if he is all good then

What a great find! No advise on how to handle two dogs that both want to sleep on your bed; I have enough trouble with just one, sprawling all over my bed as if it were her own.

thank you i was shocked he was at the shelter as long as he was. even thoguh i called ahead after checking to see if he was still there since i saw him their previously and on petfinder i was still worried he might be gone by the time i got there ( 30 min drive from my house to the shelter) he has turned out to be such a great dog he LOVES cy ( my 2yr old son) to bits, slept next to him ALL night untill he had a bad dream then he just laid his head on his lap and licked him.

thanks heh, he really is normally alot of dogs i have met the have come from a shelter/pound are very hyper hut he is just SOoo kick back relax lol

I didn't mean to imply otherwise. Dogs aren't known for their skill in feeding infants or changing their diapers, anyways. It's just incredible that he's bonded with a 2 year old human so closely.

ywah we have had labs sine i can remember, fiance thinks he has golden retriever in him and i had someone say they see some husky ( coat wise n stuff) but who knows xD
