Lost one of our dogs last week

We are all still deeply in mourning over Lexi leaving us. My girls (twins toddlers) keep looking for her and dont understand why she hasnt been here.

We think one of our cows got her, with new cow babies on the ground the mommys are kind of aggressive...so after a few days of her just not acting like her normal happy self she got taken to the vets to see what was wrong, much to all our distress she had a huge tear in her chest cavity wall and surgery was not an option due to its size and where is was. I still keep thinking Im going to open the door and she will be there snoozeing on her fav chair on the pourch

im sorry to hear that She, im sure is an amazing dog and im sure she in her own plain of existence is sleeping happily in that chair sucking up the warm spring sun-rays

I am deeply sorry about your loss. I can totally understand how devastating that must be for all of you.

All dogs go to Heaven you know..let your little ones know, sometimes we underestimate how much they can understand.
