I'd love a Pink or Purple Imp as a "girl" version.

Maybe one of the brighter looking void walkers for the girl version. Like the little dalaran pet?

Only way I could possibly see a "female" felpuppy/hunter is maybe like...slightly different colors, maybe a bigger mane. (Maybe a cute little bow on the tail?! Squee.)

And the only way I can see a felguard as a female is a big amazon lady thing with matching felguard armor. Even as a girl, I'd admit that could be sorta hot. =P

And as far as the Succie goes...I just really dont know. Would they be pushing it with a "sexy" male version? I sure as hell aint going to down grade the idea or anything, I just really cant figure out a mental image of what they'd do here. A male version in tight leather and a whip is just....Yeah. =P

And how is that different from a female in tight leather with a whip? :P
Just saying, it's not really that different. Society is just more used to women showing off like that, and not guys.

^^^ This, you can find males that enjoy that sort of thing too. Its really no different and a Incubus is just as "sexy" as a female. After all they are meant to do the exact same thing an Succubus does just to a female target.

Yep; both are intended to give sexual nightmares (how that works, I wouldn't know). The idea is a sexy tormentor that gets pleasure from torturing.

Well In real life lore the succubus is ment to "do the dirty" with a man and take his "seed" and then give the "seed" to the incubus who then uses it to knock up a female O.o

In real life, succubi and incubi don't exist. ;)

Edit: Also what you mentioned isn't in their wikis from what I can tell, Cow.

In their mythology, from what I read, succubi seduce men through their dreams and incubi lie upon sleeping women.

In mythology, there's usually 38247849272 different interpretations all getting shoved under similar names because otherwise people wouldn't be confused enough when they started trying to look at multiple stories/legends/myths/tales together. It is unwise to start arguing about whether someone's particular collection of traits is "right" or "wrong" unless both parties want to sit down and demarcate which portion of the mythos they're looking at/drawing from. ;)

This has to be the most mystifying proposition I've ever heard. There is ONE demon, out of the seven warlocks can use, that clearly has a gender and a reason for it. So, sweet! Incubi. I'm good with that. But the other six? Imps are... imps. Voidwalkers are chunks of the Nether. Felhunters are a couple dozen kinds of bizarre and slightly terrifying and I really cannot see how something that is too good for a FACE would bother with sexual reproduction, let alone sexual dimorphism like humans are use to. (Maybe I could see them doing some slug-style hermaphroditism, but that's the kind of nightmare fuel that has me covering my ears and yelling "Mitosis! THEY REPRODUCE THROUGH MITOSIS!!") Felguards strike me as either something that doesn't do human-style gender, or else is a male-only counterpart to something completely different; I assume doomguards are similar. Infernals are demonic, but they're really just angry hunks of rock on fire-- closer to magical robots than demons.

My money is on this proposed feature being the result of an artist going "boy would that be cool... hey boss, can I do this? Can I can I can I PLEEEEEEEASE??"

If they do it well-- if they make awesome new demon models that aren't just "OLD MODEL, BUT PINK/WITH A BOW ON THE HEAD"-- I would totally toss some of my old demons for the new versions. Can't say it's something I'm dying for, though, especially compared to a bunch of other player art assets I want. New Moonkin form? Something besides a model that was ugly in vanilla? Please? I'll even settle for new travel/aquatic forms! And don't get me started on the injustice of goblins/worgen having more polygons in one eyeball than my tauren has in her ENTIRE FACE.

Considering the time between the last post and yours, I'd say there is no "argument" going on. ;) It got dropped by at least me as a differing of opinion. Like you said, mythology is far too varied to argue about, but I don't see an argument happening in this thread...not yet at least. :)

Other than that, I agree with everything else you said. :D

But do you agree with me that the potential for even crazier versions of felhunters would be UNPARALLELED AWESOME? I mean, yay, incubi, that's great, now bring me some monsters. I can't be the only person who occasionally wants to send the art team love letters for the weird critters they dream up. (I want to know how many fevered hallucinations were involved in the design of ravagers. Seriously.)

It would be interesting to see them give a greater variety in demons, and I don't mean separate genders as I've been making a point that most of the demons we have are genderless.

I've never seen warlocks want this before (but I guess they've been wanting it since Vanilla), but I do remember seeing lots of people wanting Enslave Demon to work like tame beast.

I would love to see a Fel Stalker model as an alternative for the fel hunter. There's several fel beast breeds listed on their wowpedia page, it could be cool to see some of them implemented. :D

I don't see why locks can't get other demons there must be other rituals to summon more.

I think people are worried that making Enslave Demon work like tame beast is making warlocks "too much like hunters."
