Re: The most creepy thing/place in WoW?
Slith always reminded me of the film Starship Troopers thou, read the book recently for a college english class. Love both the book and the film for diff reasons, the book because it's well thought out social commentary and the film cuz it's a way over the top giant bug flick. Un'Goro always had a Jurassic Park vibe to me as well, and is a giant tease cuz I <3 dinos and want to tame many of 'em there that are untameable (currently). I hate the farm with all the giant spiders in WPL, have had digsites out there myself, even thou the spiders are tagged as neutral and won't attack, still kinda freaks me out.
I'd say Sholo is a bit creepy if you know the lore behind it and the irl mythology it's making reference to. Long story short, There's an old Eastern European myth that tells of a lake with a mage training school, the school is run by the devil and only 10 students are admitted at one time. With one of the 10 being fated to remain there forever as payment for the training. Vlad the Impaler (Dracula) was even rumored to have been taught in Scholomance.

Poor Sat. You're always the blunt of "Sat is Scary" jokes.
Then again, I take a lot of the "Let's Abuse Azu!" jokes, so it all evens out. Either way, place that scared me...
Ah, I'd have to say that REALLY BIG ROCK in BRM. You know how in order to get to most of the instances, you climb on those chains to get to point A. to B? Scared me. I'd jump link to link because I was terrifed those little gaps in the chains I could fall through and plummet to a lava-y death. While it's not possible, and I've sort of gotten used to it, it still makes me nervous.
Same fear for that chain part about the lava in IF when you jump down there. I would leap hole to hole because there were some were, logically, I would fall through. I'm all good with that though.
My dad hates the WoW monkies cause of System Shock 2, if it's relevant. I only played about 2 minutes and put up with parents making monkey noises before I shouted, "NO MORE. I NEED TO DO HOMEWORK." and ran.

sorry sat... but u'r the most evil warlock i've ever seen ^^ isn't that supposed to be a compliment for a warlock?

Re: The most creepy thing/place in WoW?
I'd have to agree with the first post. Back when you could get into the Karazhan crypt was pretty creepy. Also, one of my favorite places to quest ally side was Duskwood because it had that dark feel.

Duskwood with the music is a pretty awesomely creepy place to be.. and theres blinking eyes in the bushes which freaked the crap outta me when i saw it for the first time xD Back in Vanilla, i found the scariest thing in the entire game was when you tried to sneak past the 4 corrupted dragons who guarded the Emerald Dream portals-- Id attempt it with a friend or two and we'd scream like children when the dragon noticed us, gets pissed off, and kills us
I'll never ever EEEEVER forget Emriss breathing down my neck as im trying to run away in travel form
