Sometimes it is just damn luck

April 19th, 9:03-9:06 PM east coast
I'm chatting in the generals chat in Sholazar Basin. Me, another hunter, and a 85 DK is hunting rare pets. They for King kush, and me for Loque. I'm flying around the south west points where Loque spawns, and having my _NPC scan addon on so I don't have to spam a macro all the time. I'm talking in vent with my guild and the addon goes off in a out humming noise that hurts my ears like hell! I scream in vent and almost fall off my chair. I look at the screen and I found King Kush!
I wasn't really looking for him, but he was on my list for pets-I-want so what the heck I tamed him! (9:06 PM)
The other hunter had logged of, but the DK was still there, he was looking for Aotona (another pet i want ^^) and King for the achievement, but he wasn't mad that I took king . I told him in general chat that i found him and we talk for a while, and then I log off.
April 20th, 7:58-8:06 AM east coast
Still looking for Loque, I log on early on spring break knowing that a lot of people are not online. I fly counter clock wise around the basin looking for my dear cat
It was right after 8 am (8:06 am to be exact) when my addon goes off again!
This time (not freaking out) I am at the very North spawning point of the basin where Loque'nahak spawns and omg he was there!
I fly down, dismissed King Kush, and throw a freeze trap on him and tamed him, he wasn't even able to get out of the trap before i tamed him!

I had been looking for Loque for 5 days
I found King Kush by accident

Sometimes you just have too much luck in these things

Congrats! It's cool that the DK didn't get upset about not getting Krush for the achie.

It's silly how the pet you want, you can't find, but the pet you don't really want spawns. I had a similar situation in WotLK wanting Krush but only finding Loque and then a few months ago wanting Loque but only finding Krush.

Indeed, luck does play a big part in finding pets, and I COMPLETELY agree with the part about finding the pet you aren't looking for. When I was camping Krush, I found loque and aotona days before I found Krush, and I found both of them by accident.
