New BG change makes me SQUEAL!

So. 4.1 hit yesterday and I log in, fully excited to see the new content before me. 2 server shutdowns, and an 8 hour "nap" later, I finally get some gameplay in. I down the new ZA, and decide to do some random BGs.

While in this BG I noticed something and literally freaked.

Apperently blizzard has allowed our pets to run beside us while mounted in BGs! I'm assuming this change was implemented to fix the spawning delay of the pet, as well as the health bug that we're all aware of.

Anyone else excited to see your favorite pet beside you?

Interesting. I wonder if that's intentional or a bug. Since there aren't any mobs to aggro when you're in a BG, there's no real harm in the pet being out, plus it'd help keep 'em from getting one-shot if you're dismounted.

However I can't help but remember how, for a while there, your pet would be out when you zoned out of a bg/instance that you'd entered while mounted.

mmmmhmm was hoping it did it out of bgs to but alas no such luck. Still so nice though!

I'm hoping thing isn't a bug, It's actually quiet helpful to not have to wait for your pet to spawn, or it getting one shotted instantly.
