SylviaDragon wrote:ok i have my macro for you guys :D it can do a ton of stuff so feel free to edit it to fit your needs. it will do the fallowng:
auto target, (duh)
cast hunters mark (once per mob targeted)
cast arcane shot (replace with desierd shot, i recomend an instant cast but do what you want)
send you pet to attack the same target as you. (its a life saver in pvp and helpful in pve as well idk how i lived without it.)

/targetenemy [noharm][dead]
#show Arcane Shot
/castsequence reset=target/alt/100 Hunter's Mark,a
/cast Arcane Shot
/petattack target

Hope this helps :)
That actually works pretty well.
I did change my macro a bit, cause I only needed one that attacks.
So it looks like this instead:

Code: Select all

/targetenemy [noharm][dead]
#show Serpent Sting
/cast Serpent Sting

I'll be waiting on the highland, with its wonderful serenity.
Where the stars glow and the brooks flow, that's my way of life.
When the mountains on the highland, and the nature is surrounding me, when the wind blows, that's all I need.

Thank you so much! I've really missed the auto-target. I only have one hand, so going to tab for an extra button press really slows things down.

You know, I never thought I'd miss the old targetting thing before it was removed... but now I'm with the rest of you. xD I mean, it's not exactly the be all and end all of anything - in a few days of play I'm getting used to the new system, but I'm also a tab-targetter at heart so it doesn't exactly bother me like it did. However the one thing that DOES get me is the AI/range of the tab target. It's not just on my hunter, either - I was levelling my pally and had the same issue. For some reason, tab target can sometimes prefer mobs that are across the room, out of combat or otherwise illogical to be your next desired target. o_o I think that in a situation where 5 mobs are aggroed, the tab target should target those and only those mobs. It'd solve a lot of problems imo, including the accidental hunter pulls (which would let us get our old targetting method back).

I have no clue if that's even codable, lol. But it's just something I noticed and thought was weird :x
