"The Beast"

Unread post by Colgaran »

At long last! I have tamed "The Beast"! Took me 3 hours, but I got him! In the next xpac you will not be able to tame him anymore. Get him while you can!

P.S.
The ?? (Boss) tag is super cool. I get whispers all the time about it!

I think he's basing it on the rumour that Blackrock Mountain will be completely changed, as they're putting a coupla new raids in there iirc... Though I haven't heard a confirmation of either.

Congrats on the tame, Colgaran! :)

Yeah, I was equally concerned about him being gone or changed in Cataclysm. Blackrock is getting a pretty big overhaul, so if he shows up as a new Boss he wouldn't be tameable anymore.

Anyways, holding onto my Beast until that's confirmed at least.

Ya, UBRS is getting a complete make over. Even if they keep him as a boss, he will be lvl 87 and therefore untameable. =(

Nah I wouldn't advise it unless you like small pets. Why I really didn't mind setting Abyss free- but then again Abyss was an MC hound, not The Beast

Ya, "The Beast" is slightly larger than the MC Corehound.

No I mean- going through all that trouble just to get a pet you're unsatisfied with, but are thus unable to release because you can not retame again.

Coming from someone with 2 retired pets, 1 King Mosh and 2 spirit beasts, I know what it's like having a full stable :p

Well, to be honest, I thought they weren't re-doing any of the old instances, just adding new ones.

If you would post a link to where a blue or someone reliable said this, then I might believe it.

But Gratz on the tame, but I myself would never tame a Corehound.

Er it was said a while ago that LBRS/etc or atleast all of blackrock mountain is getting reworked cause it's supposedly exploding or atleast erupting.

The Core Hound shrinking after taming is a little saddening.

I was lucky enough to grab one of the WotLK Beta invites a while back, so one of the first things I did was to go tame a Core Hound (since I've always adored them).

In the Beta they were a good deal larger than they are now, and I was so disappointed to see that Blizzard had nerfed their size significantly on release. I liked them more when they were big, but at the same time just the thrill of taming The Beast rekindled my love for them, small or not. ^^

And, I just realized how stupid my argument sounded so, just ignore this. I make stupid posts when I'm tired. :X
