I got home from work just a wee bit ago today, didn't really know what I felt like doing, and ended up deciding to go on WoW to look for Loque again. Starting flying, and by one of the spawn points by the gorilla area, off goes my npc-scan, and it's LOQUE!! I swoop down and I see him, I'm all excited, then I realize he's not moving, wait... he's lying down.. yah he's dead...
/cry!
If only I had been able to log on sooner, or if I didn't waste a few precious minutes trying to decide what I wanted to do in the first place, then I might have had a chance at getting him! Should of, would of, could of! I'm getting close to the point of losing hope of ever being able to tame him, but I know I'll keep looking, and hopefully my luck will turn around.
Original Post: Well, I've been making multiple circles while looking for the ever mysterious and evasive Loque, and while doing so between last night and this morning I came upon King Krush twice! First time was around 8:45/8:50 pm ST I believe, and I did a /who hunter to see if any were in the area. Nobody was, so I then checked the guild roster, and there was one other hunter online at that time, so I whispered her, "Would you like to tame King Krush? I'm right in front of him." She replied "Oh God, yes! Summon me?" Now I had heard about the guild summon ability, but I didn't know what it was about exactly, if only the guild leader could use it, etc. So I asked "How can I summon you here?" My boyfriend was at his computer playing WoW and I told him what was going on, and he helped show me where the Have Guild Will Travel spell was. I was a little panicky that someone else was going to come along before the fellow guildy got there, but all went well, and she got the tame!
This morning I resumed my search for Loque, and while looking, found another King Krush, this time about 10am ST. Did /who hunter, again no one in the area, so checked the guild, one other hunter was on again, but a different one this time. They were in the middle of a bg, but I went ahead and whispered them, and they said "yeah, I'd like to tame them, but in a bg now" I said "ok, lemme know when you're ready." Just a minute or so later, they invited me to a group, and I asked if they were ready since I could summon them (Now that I know how that works, it's so helpful and awesome!). They said "yeah" so I summoned them over, and another guildy gave Krush a good new home!
Afterwards, I continued searching for Loque for about another hour, until I flew past one of his spawn points, and just past that, npc-scan went off for Loque! My heart was pounding, but when I looked down, I saw another player on the ground killing some mobs, I went over the spawn point, searching madly for him, but he wasn't there, then I turned around, and saw that same person had him out killing a mob, and his nameplate still said spirit beast, then the other player quickly put him away and went to leave. I realized that they had just tamed him, and felt a good deal of sadness and disappointment over having just missed him. But I will keep on looking, and at least I have a rough idea of a time for him now, so hopefully (/crosses fingers) I'll find him soon!
