Sorry I knew that the polar bear cubs were tamable at one point, but my wishful thinking was for the cub or small pet to grow and morph into the more menacing looking adult version when in combat. So like the small companion turtle model would grow into the spikey adult model during combat and then revert back to the companiopn turtle when the fight was completed!!! I know it will most likely never happen, but wishful thinking is almost always about wanting the improbable to happen.Wain wrote:The cubs were accidentally tameable in early WotLK. They were soon removed. There's something that feels a bit creepy about sending a baby anything in to fight and die for you. But also these creatures don't scale very well. The polar bear cub looked weird when it blew up to adult size.Caanin wrote:This next idea is probably wishful thinking, but I have always wanted to tame a Polar Bear cub! I think it would be awesome to have a polar bear cub that would grow to normal size when attacking/defending, ala Big Red Kitty(Beastial Wrath) and would return to his cub size when in passive/rest mode!?! This could be used with many different pet models, like kittens, etc? I'd love the small non-combat pet turtle model to grow viscious and spike like Ghamoo'rah during combat and then revert back to his diminutive little size!!!
I picture myself running around a BG with cute cuddly fuzzy bunny out and other faction players laughing at this only to see their looks of shock, horrorn and fear as it turned into an immense frightening battle bunny that ripped their face off!!! Too much?
