Need help deciding on a Turtle skin

So, I've decided that i want to give Turtles a try, but i cant decided on the skin that i want. At first i was thinking about getting Terrorpene, but he's to common, and i don't think he would look good alongside my Night Elf. So, after some thought, I've narrowed it down to 3 skins that i like:

Then there's http://www.wow-petopia.com/look/seaturtleskingrey.html I'm not a fan of the pink on his shell, but I like his gray skin.
And finally, http://www.wow-petopia.com/look/seaturtleskinwhite.html I like the white skin. (Im somewhat of a fan of white pets, but you couldn't tell by looking at my stables, lol)
I want a pet that stands out, and not because its a rare (because we all know that rares are more common then common skin mobs). But, above all else, i want a pet that would look good alongside my Night Elf Hunter. But i just cant decided
So, any suggestions? Which one of these three do you guys think would be good? Or do you think one I didn't list would look the best?

Personally, the gray turtle is my initial choice as I think the colors of it would really suit your night elf.

Now, I know you didn't mention beetles, but since they have the same special as turtles, I thought I would list some skins anyway.

The ancient sea turtle skin is very beautiful, but probably fairly popular, if not as much as Terrorpene.

The white skin is one of the more popular original skins.

I think the grey and pink skin would look good with you, but you could try the green and yellow instead.

As far as beetles go, the purple 'silithid' model would be a good match to your silithid and wasp, or you could try the purple and red scarab model.

The gray/green/pink would look really good with your character, I think. Doesn't hurt that it's my favorite out of the turtles anyway...../cuddles Sheldon

Well, I do have a personal preference when it comes to turtle skins... but that's beside the point.

I say that you take the top three candidates, and try each one. See if you actually like a given skin; it's really the only way of truly knowing.

Oh, Terrorpene is completely overshadowing all other turtles in popularity. I think Ghamoo-ra's time in the spotlight came in that brief period between the Shattering and Cataclysm. After that, many 'upgraded' to Terrorpene.

Thanks for your input, you guys. I'll tame the gray skin and see how i like it, if it doesn't click with me I'll try Ghamoo-ra. See if he clicks with my Night Elf even though he didn't with my Goblin. If that does work, I'll give beetles a shot. Thanks again you guys.

As a huge turtle fan I have Ghamoo'ra, the white turtle and I love the turtle skin from Tanaris coastal area though I recently dropped him so I could hunt the currently shy Terrorpene! Everyone keeps saying how common he is but I hardly ever see the lava turtle running around!!! Regardless of Terrorpene's popularity I still think he is a beautiful pet!!!

May I suggest a Stranded Sparkleshell? They're white turtles in Thousand Needles, trapped all sad and alone and hungry on little rocks :C You can save one!
