This totally isn't important to the overall game... but OH MAI GAWD. I think this is possibly my favorite feature of the entire upcoming patch.

My character has a little scroll at the mailbox! It's so amazing! I'm glad Blizz does something so tiny yet so totally awesome for us RPers. Now when we go to get mail IC we actually have... mail. Makes me wonder what other tiny changes Blizz plans to eventually make. I hope they are all this awesome

You can also use the /map emote to look at it whenever you're out and about. It's a neat little flavor thing. :3

Actually, these both features were in the 4.1 beta, but I guess that they didn't have time to finish them for some reason, and will implement it this patch instead.

The reasoon this wasn't in 4.1 as planned is animations. Not all races actually hoold the map up, there are a few that just have them glued to their hands in the normal standing position, like male gnomes and female draenei. At least that I could see.

Ah, that's a very valid reason I only tried it on my undead really, because that's the one I was taming and testing stuffs with.
