Hehe, I agree Nub. We have a lot of beautiful pets as it is, and for major lore figures I just don't think it would be right to have tameable versions of their unique models. Same goes for the Fandral forms. The fire cat and scorpid are awesome looking, but I think they're better remaining as original boss forms.

I 3rd this completely. Though I'd be all for cat druids in T12 being able to temporary look like Fandral's model like Resto druids temporarily be trees.

Haven't tried moose. I imagine it might be a bit tough, but considering what they eat, it should be good. Problem with deer is if they eat too much dry sage, it gets gamey.

I've had Gator Jerky before. It wasn't bad. Spicy, if I remember right.

We have a person here who raises Ostriches. I tried Ostrich Jerky before, quite the interesting flavor. Me and my mom got to know the person because she would buy the Eggs from him to do crafts with.

Wouldn't mind trying Ostrich Egg though, it'd make a nice omelette

Slight side track but in the vid TotalHalibut mentioned that you have to have all of Mt. Hyjal done. Does that mean to access the new quest hub and all the upcoming dailies?

If so I need to go and finish the zone >.>

Back on topic I'd love to be able to tame a modded version of the skin or any deer skins.

I've done it...twice in Live, once in Beta. It's not -that- bad.

I'll admit, when I first went through Hyjal in live (They messed with Beta Hyjal and screwed up the questing order.) it threw me off. I was all, "Where's my giant crater of doom!"

(Fun fact: In Beta, when you go save Lorna in Gilneas, there was a spectral wolf called Spirit of Goldrinn or Son of Goldrinn or something. He would have you try to help out Lorna. He's not there anymore.)

that quest made drove me nuts...
i was tempted to just bring out my slime vanity pet and let him tear those critters a new one, and bring new found fear to the npcs, *dark voice* SOON ALL CRITTERS WILL BOW BEFORE ME, THEIR PATHETIC LIVES WILL BATHE IN AGONY!!!!....

....... i think someone at blizzard has a poop fetish... they added new quests where you have to (A dig through it, B use a toliet, C eat some seeds that were eaten by someone else first....) and they added the one in Lakeshire, there were already ones in Northrend 2-3 if i remember right, one where you had to make bats crap themselves out of fear of fireworks, then the oil strip finding the micro films.... then the seed quest in grizzle hills, there were outlands ones too in i think shadowmoon but not 100%....

You can catch the critters while on a flying mount, so that makes it a bit easier to just swoop in and snatch them. :3
