Black Wolf pet name...

Hello I just tamed a new black wolf. He's the level one wolf in Northshire in Elwynn Forest. I wanted to name him Vodka so bad, but it wouldn't let me. So does anyone have some suggestions for my wolf? Thanks!

I tend to name my dark colored pets Dusk or Night

I kinda like the brutal names or the shadowy names so i usually like to go with something along the gorey lines like Slaughter or a sneaky one like Shade

I have one of the small black wolves on each of my hunters. They are named Hel, Abaddon and Hades, in order of level.

I also have one of the oil-stained wolves on my biggest hunter named Nyx.

I look to mythology for most of my names, personally.

Haha. Same here, I usually stick with Fenrisulfr for my wolf names. Tho, I shoulda stuck with Skol for Skoll!

Mine on my UD hunter is named Wrath. It looks ...wrathful, plus it was a massively popular pet during Wrath of the Lich King, too

you can name him Vodka just use a letter from the Character map, i have a white wolf called Vodkä

I, too, was looking for a name for my human hunter starter pet wolf!

I checked out the following link that was suggested in these naming forums. http://www.wowhead.com/forums&topic=80304 Personally, I liked the post since I would love to name my pets according to in-game WoW languages. What can get more realistic in WoW than that? It's not a perfect resource, but I still really enjoyed it.

I ended up naming my grey wolf, "Vendelai." ("Vendel" = help, "Ai" = ones, group). I chose that combination because the starter pets are assigned to you at level 1 as guardians, and I see the black wolf pets as a "group of helpful ones."
