I hope they have some actual tameable rares instead of all elementals.. and two cata rares are now going to be common.

...a nice looking fire spirit beast would ROCK, we dont have any fire spirit beasts.. ....or since they like cats.. a fire sambas, or maybe change it up and make it a fire scorpion

I don't tend to like the spider models in WoW but those green fire spider make me want to tame one of them. Dang another druid skin that looks awesome that is a no go for tame. :/

Unfortunately Fire Hawks are all elementals like their phoenix cousins, but we can always hope they'll have a change of heart At least the spiders are beasts.

I run tiptac for item tooltips and it says the scorpions in molten front are Warp Stalkers for some reason. When I turn it off they read as just Beasts.

blizz is using firehawk model somewhere else.....as a new mount for the meta achievement in firelands so with them being a flying mount i doubt we will get tameable ones

I dunno. You can tame dragonhawks and nether rays. But them being elementals right now makes the odds look pretty bad.

Not to mention Sambas and Madexx, which were released as tameables at the very same time they were showcased as fancy new guild mounts.

One question I have about the "boss" spiders. From what you've seen about their use, does it seem like they're sentient or highly intelligent? I was wondering about their intention with these not only because of their derivation from the Nerubian (humanoid class) model, but because they seem to be wearing some sort of metal/stone ornamentation or armour on their forelimbs. If so, they may never become tameable.

So excited logged into ptr this afternoon after the patch and we have fire spiders! did not try the smaller green ones but both the red and yellow are now tamed as well as the scorps in the area.

I have a quick question as well: Do you have to do all the Hyjal quests to see the Cinderweb Hatchlings/Spiders? I was in it yesterday and there was NOTHING there. No bosses either.

oh noes!!! I was so happy when I saw the fire hawks on the 4.2 prieview video..so sorry to hear that they are druids..ovcorse nothing that awsome looking would be tameable! I hope there are things besides spiders and scorpions to tame.
