Aeonaxx frustration...

I've been doing the same thing, staying around 45.43 for the past week and a half. Every now and then I'll fly around the temple, but still no luck on Aeonaxx, haven't seen anything, not even the other spawns.

Aeonaxx has MORE THAN ONE SPAWN POINT. Shes not Arcturis, so there is NO NEED to sit ON ME AND WAIT. GO FIND ONE OF THE OTHER SPOTS!

Trust me, I WILL wait you out. Ive been here almost 3 weeks. I can camp WAY longer than you can.

People have come to expect seeing me here. Im here from when I log on, till when I log off. Unless I see a bat, then I switch to my hunter. GTFO my spot and go find one of the other 4-5.

They don't share spawn timers

Which means aeonaxx can spawn anytime then. Fuck it, I might have missed him.

There is a way to track Aeonaxx quite easily. (I've found him 3 times in 4 weeks).Link yourself his reins via atlas loot straight after maintenance.If they do NOT link correctly he hasn't spawned.His spawn timer is once per week and it resets with maintenance and server restarts.Try camping at 44,49 too, gives you a good view of 4 out of 6 spawn points.

He can spawn more than once a week
Also, while linking reins can be helpful, it isn't 100% reliable, as there are builds of atlas loot that can pull the information and cache it to the server, showing a false positive- as does someone having the reins in their bag, unlearned. This can happen from someone wanting to grief campers, or someone without proper flight skill who can't learn the reins yet. It's cool as a supplementary bit of info, but don't rely on it.

I wonder why i thought that xariona was the vyragosa, when the stupid bat is, which i haven't seen yet.
And i believe aeo can spawn more than once a week. And i have the link thingie when the servers come back up tomorrow. So far it has always linked properly.
I will get him someday. ^^,

So of course...when I take the time off to work on my Childrens week stuff on my 2 85s, and my 83, guess who shows up. And the mage thats been camping with me snags him. And of course any whisper I send politely asking WHEN goes ignored. I congratulated her...and she KNEW I was camping hard core because she ALWAYS commented about seeing me there...and now shes refusing to talk to me.

So like...after calming down some...I can tell you a story.

I was parked in my normal spot, LIKE ALWAYS...inbetween the 2 SW spawns, and at SC entrance height. I was actually tabbed OUT, and uploading a video to Youtube, and my latency was RED and SHIT. I heard the drums and was like...meh...stupid ba....OMGGGGGG WHERE IS HE??????? Clicking the target frantically, I had NO idea WHICH spot to go to, so I went to the 47, 57 spot, and couldnt find him, so I spun in circles, zooming in and out, and barely managed to choke out a message to gchat, when my SD pinged gchat for me. So I stopped trying to type, and flew around and up and down, and found him around the Quartzite basin, and went SHWABOOF and landed on his ass. Once I was happily parked, I then hit /genchat and screamed MINE MINE MINE!

After wondering WHY my damage was sucking, I realized...hey dummy! Put on your shields and buffs! DERP!

I landed in the Blood Trail, and grabbed that drakes precious cargo (ALL WHILE STILL AT RED LATENCY) and gen chat started demanding the corpse, so I posted coords, and people started getting STUPID!

"So Ill come back in 6 hours." says a druid.

"Im an 82 lock, Ill get him later"

The BEST part, the DRUID had linked the reins in gen chat about an hour before and was talking about how he'd been camping for a week. And when I screamed MINE MINE MINE later, he whispered me and said THAT was when HIS scanner went off.

HAHAHA.

Two questions...
1) Exactly how hard is he to kill?
and 2) what is his spawn timer?

Not that HARD...but sheer excitment had me forgetting normal things. Cant use totems....no spirit wolves, I forgot I wasnt buffed...ect..

and respawns 6-22 hours, with most likely a 1/16 chance of being Aeonaxx instead of a derpbat, at 6 different spawn locations.
