Much much better. The tail is weird because Alar's tail is like that too... when the phoenix models fly the tail tip kind of uselessly waves down towards the body.
awsome =) its looking great. I was kinda disapointed when i first saw the mount- kinda just looked like a mutant star poney robbed of its starts... or a radioactive cloud with wings... I am quite happy with how its turning out now ^.^
Aw, I'll miss the old one. New one's not bad, but I suspect I'm one of maybe five people worldwide who like the current live version of the dark phoenix better ;P

Old phoenix is basically just a purple mist in the shape of a phoenix. The new one is an actual body of a Phoenix, like A'lar.

Also, when you hoover your curser over the mount, it becomes white and burns your eyes out of their sockets! >.<

Took some pictures of the current 4.1 phoenix to show the difference.

A rare visitor to this forum now that I don't play WoW anymore, but forever a Petopian.
I think I like it not having a definite body better, definitely DON'T like it lighting up like a supernova when targeted, and 99.99% still don't care because, well, it has no bearing on my corner of existence. But now I know. Whee!
