I finally got the Ravager, and named him Freddy. I think he just looks like he came straight from "Nightmare on Elm Street". Plus, he's a nightmare for others. It was either Freddy or Rambo.

Poor Pining (Aotona) is often mistaken as longing for the Fjords, but in fact, she hates them. They are too cold and inhospitable, as is much of Northrend. She is only ever happy when she is somewhere temperate, and overjoyed when back in the Basin.
Artume frequently feels pangs of guilt when she has business to conduct in Northrend, so she tries to drum up as many orders for hide as possible back in old Azeroth. She trades with the Bloodsails, but has secretly mended her bridges with the Steamwheedle Cartel as well ... allowing Pining to visit with Treasure when they sail on the Maiden's Fancy.

Re: How do you envision your hunter pets?
Mmmm, I don't role play my characters, but I still role play and my pets seem to have grown personalities of their own. x3
[Deathly's pets]
Byron (Loque) - Feeling like he is the most important thing in all of Azeroth, Byron doesn't get along kindly with Ares in the least. They are usually seen fighting whenever Deathly has them both out at the same time and it has giving the Tauren alot of grief from the many inns she has stayed at and gotten kicked out of. Byron is the stuck-up sort; never wants to get or take directions from anyone. Even his own master. Which... in non-cursing filled terms... has caused the most grief of all in dungeons. (Four words: Big. Freaking. Repair bills.)
Ares (Skoll) - [See Byron's description. Other than being different shapes (as in, ones a lazer kitty and the other is a pew pew wolf), they are pretty much two halves of the same whole. Yes, they are brothers in terms of how I role play them).]
Odjit (Blight hound) - Odjit does not get along with Squelch. More for the reason that he has tasty (but slime-covered) bones sticking in him. Whenever she isn't fighting something, she's chasing a panicked Squelch around, slipping into people thanks to his slug-like slime trails. Odjit has declared herself packleader for the most part. She was the first of Deathly's pets from Northrend after the hunter had to say good-bye to all her others; the ones who couldn't stand the cold weather and refused to step anywhere near anything that took them to the icy wasteland. [In truth, Deathly only had one pet in her Outland days that stuck through; Sparta the green Blade's Edge wind serpent. Sparta has long since passed, but Deathly seems to find his playful and joking spirit in all her pets, something that has caused her to have even stronger bonds with her pets, no matter what the grief they cause.]
Squelch (Slime) - More of the passive type, Squelch really doesn't have much of a personality besides bobbing his head to an unheard beat. [Still trying to work on Squelch atm. :c]
Naeem (Shattered Hand Warhound) - Following Deathly while Odjit takes a well deserved freedom romp with her past packmates, Naeem is quiet, cooperative, considerate, sympathetic to others, adaptable, balanced and sometimes shy. From what Deathly has seen so far, he is trustworthy, respecting the confidences of others, and makes an excellent diplomat between Ares and Byron, and a mediator and partner. He is often very intuitive, and likes detail and order around the family. He finds fast-pace change worrisome, and is sometimes insecure or restless around strangers and othe pets.
[Jasmon's pets]
Naraku (Zarakh) - This screechy little spider very recently joined Jasmon on his journeys and, much to his hunter's annoyance, loves to run off anyone he groups with for dungeons with a combined force of screeching when attacking and nipping at their legs with amputating-esque venom coated mandibles. This spider thinks himself sort of the ringleader for the rest of Jasmon's pets but usually tends to get his legs snapped at by the others (seeing as he's about the size of Jasmon's raptor mount's head /eyeroll).
Scoodles (Purple hyena) - Playful and care-free, Scoodles treats every mob and every kill like it's some sort of tag game. He'll run endless circles around the thing his master is attacking to make it dizzy before finishing it off. So, in a way, he's sort of like a half of Jasmon, an equally playful and care-free troll.
Volvagia (Azzere the Skyblade) - Strict at hell, Volva isn't the wind serpent you want to cross in a dark alley while he's in a bad mood. Unlike most wind serpents who use lightning as a way of attack, Volva refused to follow the low-life salamanders that referred to him as a brother and learned the ways of mastering fire breathing. [Yes, he is based on who you think he's based on.]
Bartimaeus (Panther) - A tricky djinn that Jasmon happened across in Stranglethorn thanks to the nearby troll voodoo that brought the spirit out in the first place, Bartimaeus followed Jasmon all through Stranglethorn, giving him grief and sarcastic remarks. Technically, Jasmon never 'tamed' Barty, but the damned djinn won't leave him alone no matter what. Yes, djinn can shapeshift, but Barty find it more comfortable to be in a shape that agile, sleek, and has the excuse to knock people down while acting like a kitten trying to hop on your lap.
[Mistbow's pets]
Dreamweaver (Zarakh) - Aptly named so because this little spider has the odd habit of hanging right over Mist's head when he sleeps by a thin glimmering thread. And, in the rare case that they actually get a room at an inn, the spider takes the curtesy to spin a dreamcatcher-esque web right above his master while he sleeps that actually seems to help the young blood elf and his reccuring nightmares. When not spinning webs, Dreamweaver is annoying Jet, Mist's short-tempered and newly tamed wolf.
Jet (Ghostpaw wolf) - Despite the spider's pushy personality, Jet takes none of it's crap. Having a temper fuse as short as Dream's skinny legs, this wolf is not shamed to take a snap at the spider whenever the arachnid comes near him and is glad that his master lets him every once in awhile when the spider has become just more than an annoyance. Short-tempered arrogance is all people find in this wolf, but they much rather have him than Dreamweaver and his annoying screech of doom and destruction.
Fluffykins (Deathclaw) - Despite his downright scourge look, Fluffy is actually rather cuddly and friendly around Mist and anyone else his master meets even though the plague has tore at his skin and organs, infesting any battle wounds he got fighting for the right to rule. Both Jet and Dreamweaver stay away from him, not wanting to get on the bear's bad side and end up getting hurt which would most certainly lead to catching the plague as well. But Mist looks past this and judges by personality, not looks.
Rumbleroar (Plain ol' maned lion) - Headmaster of Pigfarts. That's on mars. He's a lion. Who can talk. c:
Baniti (Humar) - Name meaning "teacher" in egyptian, this lion has really taught Mist the ropes of the wild since being raised as a lone teen lion lost in the wilderness and practically raised under Mist's bed until the cat was too big to fit in the boy's closet. Cast from his home with only a sword, a bow with quiver and arrows, and his lion cub, Mist didn't know much about the outside world. But Baniti did and took the helpless blood elf under his wing (paw?); even going as far as hunting his meals for both of them to keep his master alive.
Re: How do you envision your hunter pets?
Somehow over the years, I've collected three hunters... each with their own animal family.
Arisia, my main toon:
Myst (Gondria) -- Myst is the one you'll see with 'Rissa most of the time. Myst is a partner, not a pet, in both Hunter and his mind. He's protective, but knows that Rissa is competent. He isn't a true ghostly being as he looks in game; to me, Myst is solid, but surrounded with that swirling etheric mist, making him look a bit frightening and unearthly. His eyes are without pupil, glowing ageless orbs that get brighter when he is angry or eager to fight. He retains very little of the mystical abilities he had when a child of the Gods, but one thing he can do he has kept secret from Arisia, sharing it only with one other, the tiger Solstice.
Arcturus (Arcturis) -- A true ghostly presence. He shimmers in and out, not even appearing at Arisia's side unless she sends him in to fight. Unsure of why he chooses to travel with her, Arisia knows this is not a forever bond; when he feels the need to go elsewhere, Arcturus will leave. She knows he cares for her in the way pets do to their hunter friends, but he was never meant to truly BE a pet, at least not forever.
Sardonyx (Shattered Hand Warhound) -- Forced into that life, a tiny bit of Donni's soul cried out for freedom, and Arisia heard it. Knowing she was not strong enough to enter and save him alone, she swallowed her pride and begged for help, and a kindly Troll Shaman came to her aid and helped her reach and free Sardonyx, who partnered immediately with Arisia, never looking back. He keeps his armor willingly, knowing it allows him to protect the hunter he adores.
Polaris (Skoll) -- He is aloof, and silent. Arisia knows he does care for her, and that their bond is a true one, but unlike her other friends, Pol is a watcher, an observer. His eyes echo the weather around him, and are free of emotion. Devoted to his master, and eager to keep her safe, he does not like to be touched, and can be found most of the time, as high up as he can be, watching the world around him.
Solstice (Durotar Tiger) -- She is Arisia's first pet, and getting long in the tooth, in truth. Sol is sweet, gentle, loves treats and to be cuddled by her owner and is a big, slightly tubby mush. In her youth she was a hellion, running alongside Arisia, aiding in the mayhem and destruction the young hunter delighted in causing. Her time is getting short, sadly, but Myst has let Solstice know that when the time comes, her spirit will enter with his, so that their beloved Arisia will never ever be without a protector.

Re: How do you envision your hunter pets?
I'm so liking this thread. It's super seeing all the brilliant pet names and understanding the rationale behind them. Plus, there is some very nice story-telling going on here ... kind of makes me want to try a bit of fan-fic myself.

Re: How do you envision your hunter pets?
I RP my hunter pretty often so his pets have definite personalities.
Although 3 of them ICly aren't his pets, per se...
Blue (Formerly Rak'Shiri) - Was raised by his old, now deceased tiger Indivar. Blue is playful, energetic and perhaps a bit easily frightened at times. Aside from this, Blue is Aquillian's most loyal companion. On the hunt, Blue is fierce and stealthy. She's the only pet Aquillian /actually/ hunts with, haha. I picture Blue very much like her graphic, perhaps a bit more naturally proportioned.
Coriander (Formerly King Krush) - A young devilsaur that Aquillian found in the basin. Coriander is pretty goofy and not the most intelligent creature. He's not much of a hunter, being very loud and exciteable... but Aquillian is pretty fond of him. I picture Coriander as a very silly, young devilsaur with huge eyes and the gawky appearance of a young reptile or bird.
And then there are the spirit beasts. ICly they don't have names and aren't his pets, they just appear at various times to him or his friends. I try to RP them as if they were actual spirit beasts. *shrug* So the names are strictly OOC.
Animus (Formerly Loque'Nahak) - A lazy, somewhat obstinate creature. Animus once saved Aquillian's life when he fell ill in the basin, and ever since has been known to appear at random, either to help or annoy the hunter. Known for flopping down and pawing at people's feet as they pass by. I picture him as an enormous snow leopard with eternally half-lidded eyes -- a sleepy looking beast.
Anxiety (Formerly Skoll) - Seems to enjoy frightening the hunter and his friends by appearing at random in a splash of lightning and blue light. Doesn't really serve any decided purpose... yet. I picture him pretty much exactly as his graphic depicts.
Borealis (Formerly Arcturis) - Appears to Aquillian when he visits forests. Seems to like watching him, rarely plays any active role in things though. Doesn't typically seem to be visible to others though, leading Aquillian to believe it's a figment of his imagination. I picture him as extremely ghostly and faint, not much more than a floating mass of teeth and eyes.

Re: How do you envision your hunter pets?
My pets and their personalities:
Daishar – Daishar, the blue frostsaber, is the matriarch of the group, in a sense. She’s been with Tahlian the longest, he is hers – whether he acknowledges this fact or not – and she knows best how things are to be run. So there. Tahl first met Daishar when he was adventuring in Winterspring. He caught her eye, and she stalked him. Although her original intent was to pounce on the young elf and make a meal out of him, she quickly found herself drawn to him, and so set out to make it clear to him that the two of them should partner up. It took four separate occasions of hunter and saber violently clashing before Tahlian finally realized what the great cat wanted, and offered her the bond of friendship. Daishar is very protective of “her” elf, and tends to be jealous if he attempts to date someone she disapproves of. In the past, she has been known to jump up on her master, put her paws on his shoulders, and lick his ear to distract him from a girl that didn’t meet her “standards.” Daishar is also quick to make her opinion of a person obvious – if she doesn’t like you, you’ll know it right quick!
Clayburn – Clayburn is Tahl’s devilsaur, and is as tough as they come. Big, brown, and fierce, Clayburn is currently the young Farstrider’s partner on the front lines in Icecrown Citadel. On occasion, Tahl has referred to Clayburn as a “walking stomach” – the big reptile is always hungry, and always on the lookout for something to eat. If left unattended for too long, Clayburn will try to eat almost anything that isn’t nailed down…including an assortment of dud grenades that a blood knight tossed into Tahlian’s apartment in the past. Because of his voracious appetite, Tahl has had to find a special treat to motivate Clayburn, because the garden-variety steaks and mammoth bites just weren’t “special” enough for the devilsaur. Much to his chagrin, it would seem that Clayburn is motivated – by beer. While it was nice to find a “high-value” treat for his battle partner, it has required Tahlian to venture into Blackrock Depths on more than one occasion, both to restock on treats for the devilsaur and to pay the big lizard’s bar tab at the Grim Guzzler. Clayburn is an adolescent devilsaur, and somewhat spoiled…he’s not above stomping a foot and roaring to let Tahl know that he wants his treat, and wants it RIGHT NOW. He’s very loyal to his master, though, and ridiculously fond of the assortment of small pets that haunt the Farstrider’s rooms, even if he does let Tahl’s ravasaur Veruca bully him to no end.
Tsorovan – Tsorovan is the “wise old soul” of Tahlian’s pets. The strange spotted creature with eyes of blue fire is by no means your average cat. He has, in fact, more than a touch of the divine about him, and is probably more intelligent in some respects than the blood elf he accompanies. Ever since his first forays into Stranglethorn Vale, Tahlian Sunchaser has disliked Hemet Nesingwary. The young elf was affronted by the dwarf’s obsession with the furs and fangs he called “trophies” – the little man with a gun seemed to have no appreciation for the beasts of the Vale unless they were dead and skinned for his pleasure. His encounters with him in Nagrand did little to improve his opinion of the dwarf, and several of the things Nesingwary required of the Farstrider in Sholazar Basin outright sickened the elf. As soon as he could complete his contract with the man, Tahlian threw himself into working with the Oracles of Sholazar, to try and make amends for the things he’d done while in Nesingwary’s unwilling employ. To Tahl’s mind, the appearance of Tsorovan in his life, willing to hunt and stay with him, was a sign that the spirits of Sholozar Basin had at last forgiven him for the things he was made to do. And Tsorovan is perfectly content to allow the boy to think that. Although he can “speak” with Tahlian after a fashion, Tsorovan is content to guide “his boy” with a gentle head-nudge, or a paw-smack if the elf is being particularly foolish. If words are needed between them, chances are that there’s trouble anyway. He often seems vaguely amused by the assumptions others make about his status as Tahl’s “pet.” But he holds his peace well enough…unless someone offers him outright disrespect.
Cinders – Cinders might, at first glance, remind an outside observer of a hellhound…which isn’t entirely incorrect. Cinders is happily working for “the good guys” these days, and loves to hear about what a good, clever boy he is. Tahlian had originally snuck Cinders out of the Vargul encampments in Zul’Drak to keep the demonic minions of a warlock he was involved with occupied. The dalliance with the warlock didn’t last…but Cinders has stayed. Tahlian came to appreciate and rely on his ferocity and drive in combat – once the hellhound got his jaws into an enemy, he wasn’t likely to let go till either the enemy was dead or he was. Cinders is vigilant and protective of his master’s quarters, and when out and about with Tahlian, is always ready and eager to work. He may not be as large as some of the hulking wolves that accompany other hunters, but as Cinders himself would tell you, it’s not the size of the dog in the fight – it’s the size of the fight in the dog that counts! Or, in this case, hellhound. If Cinders has one bad habit, it’s his tendency to jump up on people that he knows and likes. When he and his master are just waiting for a battle to start, Cinders will often bounce up and down in anticipation, both of the upcoming fight and the chance to “properly greet” the people he knows.
Jabberwock – Jabberwock, or “J.B.” as he’s becoming known for short, is the newest member of the menagerie. When he was fighting in Outland, Tahlian had traveled for a brief time with a warp stalker by his side. When the fighting career of his bear, Archie, came to a close, Tahl remembered that warp stalker and returned to Terrokar Forest to make a new friend of an old and beloved species. Jabberwock, as his name might suggest, does tend to burble a lot, usually when he wants a treat or some extra attention. When it’s time for a fight, though, J.B. is all hissing ferocity, jaws agape and thick leathery hide deflecting all but the most wicked of blows. J.B. is already developing a habit of “testing his limits.” Since warp stalkers have a thumb-claw of sorts, the lizard is trying his out on things like cabinet doors and doorknobs, just to see what he may be able to get into. His two favorite places in Tahl’s apartment are the hearth before the fire and the tile floor in the bathroom, next to the tub. When the weather gets nicer (if the weather in Dalaran could truly be said to improve), he may also develop a fondness for the balcony where Tahl sits to practice his music. Though he hasn’t been around long, J.B. looks to be fitting in quite well, and is just as quirky as the rest of Tahlian’s pets.

Re: How do you envision your hunter pets?
Started a new hunter for giggles (Shadowfyris, a Tauren), decided she'd be different.
Having grown up under the watchful eyes of her elder sister, Kaliendra, who disappeared during an attack on the Icecrown Citadel, Shadowfyris is a huntress who does not seek beasts who are designated as 'powerful' creatures in the Hunter's Circle. The Devilsaurs of the Un'Goro, the Hyenas of the Gadgetzan Sands, the majesty of Aotona of Sholazar, none of these beasts have any sort of meaning to her. They are beautiful, she admits, but they are not for her. She and Kali grew up as daughters of simple farmers, and in this simple world of theirs, it was often the plain-looking beasts that beheld the most meaning for the growing Tauren Huntress. Therefore, shortly after Kaliendra's disappearance, and Shadsi began her long journey into the Wild Hunt, she was determined to pick beasts that other young hunters snubbed or spoke ill of as beasts unsuitable for the beginning of their journeys.
Placido - Mazzranache - "Masterful Voice" (named after Richard Hunt's character, Placido Flamingo, in Sesame Street <3)
In her travels across Mulgore, at the foot of the massive rock pillars which housed the great city of Thunder Bluff, Shadowfyris found herself drawn to the strange pink-feathered form of Mazzranache - renowned for his deadly poison and viciousness. She saw wounds on other Tauren that did not heal, a lifetime of suffering for the costly mistake of challenging this pink-feathered bastard. Few had survived the poison's first few hours, but those that had lived spoke of nightmares that continued to haunt their dreams.
After hearing tales of many disastrous encounters with him, she was honestly surprised when the pink one ambled past her resting place, warbling a cheerful tune. This oddity became endearing, and once she felt she was ready to tame him, she followed his cheerful singing out into the plains. Placido, as she named him, is a simple sort; a great love of music, of food (especially cheese), and of great company. Certainly he is not the most graceful creature, but from out of that beak spills melody divine as he walks beside his new mistress and family. He is not a coward per se, but he will suffer an early moult if startled enough. Shadsi's already had to fetch him out of a pine tree once already...
Meherafriz - Springpaw Lynx Cub - "Blessings Of The Sun"
The Rake was majestic, but Shadowfyris shook her head. A male prideleader was on her agenda, but definitely not one from her homeland. She wanted something from a far off place and time, and upon visiting the great city of Orgrimmar to restock her supplies, she was greeted by a beautiful red lynx by the side of her master, a Blood Elf Hunter whose experiences far outweighed her own. Falling in love with the eternal depth of the green eyes the feline possessed, she asked her questions of her elder with a confidant voice. She was escorted to the Undercity and from there, the translocating mage orb to the fabled city of Silvermoon, the Blood Elf Capital. Stepping forth into its beauty and majesty, Shadsi all at once felt small and insignificant, and quickly made her way through the city to the ruins of Silvermoon, where the Scourge had left devastation in her wake. This was where the Lynxes spawned and thrived.
Most hunters she noticed tamed the big sirelings, the raw power in their ferocity being all what was needed in a companion. However, her eyes turned towards the cubs, looking for that one special feline. Meherafriz trailed behind his sire, a runtling in size and scale of the older feline, clearly beaten into submission if his pelt was anything to go by. When he felt Shadowfyris's call, the only thing he thought of was finally gaining the upper hand against his abusive sire. Released from the first few ill weeks of his life, Meherafriz, or "Frizzy" as Shadsi came to refer to him as, is as loyal as he is majestic. He has flourished under the loving care of his new mistress and clings to her side. Shadowfyris was his introduction to the wonderous effect of real love and as such, he returns that love with a hissing, snarling amount of ferocious power and an affection that runs deeper than the waters of Azeroth. He loves his meat, but has turned to fish as a way of 'competing' with Pyralis for their mistress's attention.
Pyralis - Feral Dragonhawk Hatchling - "Of Fire"
A flash of fiery, feathery-scales flitted past her as she and her new cub returned to Silvermoon City. The beauty of this playful little creature instantly intrigued her. There was no fear in the beast's eyes, rather, a boundless curiousity and playfulness filled the soft blue orbs, and he darted this way and that, almost providing an escort for her and Meherafriz back to the gates. Placing her loyal new feline into the stables, she set out to find this strange beast, learning from the City's gardener, Jerome, that these creatures were called 'Dragonhawks'. They could breathe fire, and as such, were often kept as pets by members of the court, an trained as messengers and circus beast alike. Their boundless energy meant that they could traverse a wide area and never tire of the journey, always finding something to keep them entertained along the way. Oftenly enough, they would go right up to young travellers, 'tagging' them and playing some sort of game. It often got them killed for their soft flesh, delicious eggs and expensive leather hides. To kill a Dragonhawk that belonged to a courtier was an instant death penalty, but the wild ones who flew in abundance outside the gates were free game for anyone to tame or hunt.
The one Shadowfyris sought was found on the very outskirts of the city's wall, flitting after whatever shadows filtered down through the trees. When it noticed her, it chirped a playful cry and flew around her, as if making a friend long before the bond had even reached its ears. This strange beast with horns had come to this place, to this expanse of greenery, to find him. He did not struggle, nor put up a fight against her hand, merely allowed Freya's words to soothe and tie him to this Tauren. Pyralis as she named him became a lifelong companion. He takes some great delight in oftenmost singing along with Placido, or otherwise playing a game with Meherafriz and Qoylurani. As a fighter, Pyralis is swift and dangerous. His speed and fiery breath have left many opponents charred and blackened by attempts to reach Shadowfyris. He appears to have an obsessive affair with fruit, especially grapes, and certain types of fish.
Qoylurani - Scorpid Worker - "Star"
A Scorpid Worker. Not the most attractive of pets, but to Shadowfyris was a simple enough one that reminded her of her missing sister, Kaliendra. She had likened the older Tauren Female to that of a Scorpid when they were growing up - 'wouldn't know what hit you until you tried annoying her!' This strange beige, ruby and blue creature caught her eye en route back to Orgrimmar from the little coastal abode of Ratchet and reminded her, very plainly, of the twinkling stars of the night sky. She pursued her interest in the beast after arriving at Durotar. There she travelled to the Troll and Orc domain tucked away in the mountains, and soon found herself surrounded by the little creatures scuttling everywhere in the red sands. Specifically, and like Placido, she was looking for that one creature whose behaviour would be considered 'odd' to the norm, and found one rather small Scorpid idly 'daydreaming' under the shade of a tree. Shadsi knew that this one was for her.
Qoylurani as Shadsi named this odd creature, simply means 'Star', and she has lived up to her name. She has become Shadsi's little star performer in a fight, jabbing her stinger with such brute force into the enemy, she leaves bruises behind. For her tiny size in comparison to other Scorpids, Qoylurani bears the brunt of teases and taunts with her stinger held high and a wall of power secured inside her massive pincers - pick on her and she will kick your butt before you know what hit you! Fortunately in this new family of hers, the oddities of her siblings have become endearments to her too. Her size means nothing, she will gladly skitter after Pylaris and Meherafriz in a game of tag, or sit with Placido and be captivated by his songs. Her favourite ploy however is to skitter into and rest in Shadsi's lap, just like her to steal Meh's role as the kitten of the family XD
[Haven't yet come to a conclusion on a 5th pet yet, but am rather fond of either a Boar (Princess's skin), a Prairie Wolf (for their barking), a Spider (most likely the gorgeous Lava Spider skin I never see on ANY toon on Saurfang, horde or ally), or a Hyena (preferably that beautiful Scarlet Tracking Hound)...]

Re: How do you envision your hunter pets?
I've got several hunters with pets, but we'll stick to my main, Daranara, just for ease.
Kegan - A proud and brave white lion, Kegan is Dara's oldest and most trusted pet. He is fierce, brave, and totally devoted to his mistress. He is friendly and loyal to his specific few people, though growly and unfriendly to strangers, especially males. He was once the first and most often used of her companions, but as he is starting to age just a touch, she is working to try and give him a bit of a break at times. Despite this, he is always ready to fight to protect his mistress with his life.
Jerkface - A stunning white warpstalker who lives up to his name, even from his taming, in which he slipped out of her temporary trap to his freedom. He has a poor attitude, and is a very snarly creature to everything and everyone that isn't his mistress. His one weakness is grapes, and if one were to consistently bring him bunches of his favorite treat as a peace offering, you could likely begin to gain some measure of trust, though he'd likely still snap, if only for show. He enjoys nothing more than charging headfirst into any and all situations to tear and bite at his foes, ever ready to put his unique warping abilities to use should his prey try to flee.
Charlie - An offspring of Har'koa and Loque'nahak, this feline is young yet, with most of the sleek beauty and raw power that such a parentage would indicate, but lacking in the finesse required just yet. He is playful to the point of obnoxiousness, and seems to view Dara, her husband, and Kegan as a set of surrogate parents, rarely comfortable away from at least one of the three. In battle he is showing signs of being a fierce contender, once he gets the hang of it.
Tesla - On the other hand, Tesla seems to be Charlie's antithesis. Huge, somber, and well in control of her powers, this fierce elemental wolf watches everything with her glowing eyes and tries to use it to her advantage. She and Dara are more partners than master and pet, and she likes it as such. She remains at her side for now, to their mutual benefit.
Claymore - A large tyrant devilsaur who has no personality as of yet, sadly. Instead, have the pet I cannot seem to keep in my stables, much to my sadness, since I never seem to be able to use him for anything...
Fish - This brilliantly-colored hyena is most content kept at home rather than out on the battlefield. Since his rescue from the Scarlet Monestary, Fish has always been slow to want to fight, only doing so at Dara's insistence. He much prefers games of chase or fetch to anything resembling a real fight. Due to this, she rarely brings him along on her adventures, preferring to keep him at her small home with her husband, to protect the home front, as it were.

Re: How do you envision your hunter pets?
Aeriika (Main Hunter, Lvl 80 Draenei)
Dante (The Kraken) - Aeriika's first encounter with this particular breed of Corehound was when she was hired to stop the Menace known as "The Kraken" Although she has travelled many miles since then and seen many different animals, she had never forgotten that first..somewhat terrifying...encounter with the Corehound. Many years (lvls) later, she was asked to acompany a hunter she had taken under her wing to once again wonder the caverns of the Moonkin's home to rid the furbolg once again of the Monster known as "The Kraken." Surely this couldn't be the same Corehound she had bested so many years ago? She had her answer as she once again journeyed into the Moonkin's cave. After the Kraken had been dispatched and the young hunter was claiming it's skin, Aeriika heard a low whimper. Following it she discovered a young Corehound pup who barely had it's eyes open. Sick to her stomach for having been part of killing a creature that was only protecting it's young, she bundled the young pup up and vowed to take care of him.
Dante is the most laid back Corehound Aeriika has ever seen. HIs two heads are in perfect harmony with each other and Dante rarely gets upset about anything. He is steadfast and fiercely loyal to the Draenei who has raised him. He much prefers to lay by the fire and sleep. However, don't let his laid back nature fool you. He is vicious in his defence of his Mistress and her companions as he skillfully intercepts any enemies who slip past the main defences. Nowdays, however, Dante spends his days lazing around the stables in a much deserved retirement.
Faust (MC Corehound) - Aeriika first run across this Corehound in the depths of Molten Core as he patroled. She had heard about this particular breed of Corehound and had decided to enter MC to steal on of the coveted pups. However, Faust was not the pup she had expected. Unlike his more docile counterpart, Faust is hell on 4 legs. His two heads always constantly squabble and snap at each other. He has an almost sadistic streak to him, enjoying toying with his intended prey before striking the killing blow. Vicious and cruel have been two words that others have used to describe this fiery mutt. While he is completely loyal to Aeriika, a loyalty that was hard won, he is very untrustworthy around other people so Aeriika tends to only bring him out when she is soloing.
Caliban (Winterspring Pridewatcher) - Aeriika first came upon Caliban when she was exploring the snowy landscape of Winterspring. Cal had been viciously attacked by someone who was interested him for his pelt. As far as Aeriika could tell, he had managed to escape but was severally wounded. Aerikka had come across the dying cat and immediatly went to work binding his wounds. She was concerned when the wild cat didn't even have the strength to fight back. She set up camp beside the alcove Caliban had managed to crawl into and waited for him to heal. Over the course of the long weeks, a bond began to form between Aeriika and the mighty cat. Once he was healed, she stepped away, ready to release him back into the wild but the cat refused to leave her side. Now with Dante retired, Caliban is the companion she travels with most.
Cal was just reaching his prime when Aeriika had come across him. He is still very much a kitten at heart and loves nothing more then to play. He is extremely affectionate, constantly rubbing his head under Aeriika's hand as they walk before bounding ahead to investigate. As the years have passed, Cal has mellowed somewhat. He is more refrained but still enjoys a simple game now and then. He is very grateful and fiercely protective of the Hunter who saved his life.
Samedi (DB Rabid Polor Bear)- Aeriika come across this unfortunate Bear in her travels through Dragonblight. He had been one of many animals effected with a plague the likes of which the Night Elves of Starsrest feared. Aeriika took the sad task to free the animals from their suffering unpon herself, knowing that they would finally be at rest. An odd thing happened, however. After she was cleansing one of the infected bears...it didn't die like all the others had. Instead it tried to struggle to it's feet. Seeing the strong need to survive in the bear's eyes, Aeriika tamed him. Although the plague that ravaged his body was gone, the evidence of his trials are clear for all to see. Despite the grave wounds that refuse to heal, Samedi likes nothing more then to cuddle up with anyone who will allow him too. He is the type of animal that has never met an enemy, although most people who see him tend to shy away from him. He is a very affectionate bear when allowed and has a brave, stout heart that burns with the same fire Aeriika had seen in his eyes. Perhaps because he has already faced Death and lived, Samedi throws himself between his friends and the enemy without thought or hesitation.
Crunch (Devilsaur, Black Skin)- Crunch is the newest of Aeriika's pets and also the youngest. She come across him while wondering the lush, prehistoric landscape of Un'goro Crater. It was plain to her as she watched the young Devilsaur, that he was constantly picked on by the other devilsaurs of the crater. She set about watching him for days and discovered that her first hunch was right. Every time he tried to eat or to drink from the springs, the other Devilsaurs would chase him away.
Crunch is somewhat puppy like. He loves to bound around, chasing anything that moves and even tries to instigate games of chase with the other pets. Most of the others tolorate the young Devilsaur but he has recieved more then one bite from Faust. When he isn't tormenting the other pets at the stable he is housed in, he is thinking with his stomach. Nothing is safe from this Devilsaur's monsterous appitite. Aeriika has had to pay for repairs at the inns and stables they visit more times then she can count. Even so, she loves the big fella and wouldn't dream of replacing him. On the battlefield, Crunch is somewhat unproven. His intense curiousity and short attention span has gotten Aeriika in more then one scrape but he is starting to improve more and more each day. Aeriika thinks that if she can get him to focus, he will be a force to be reckoned with.
