and he needs a name! I've wanted the Kurken since I made my very first Draenei well over a year ago and saw him in Stillpine Hold, but I never did get my hunter up high enough to tame exotics and then I took a long break from the game. Now my hunter has just hit level 69 and I immediately dropped what I was doing to go get him. I was so excited! Somehow, after all this time, I still have never pictured a name for him. My toon is a female dwarven hunter named Alassra and she's very happy to have her new core hound, nut I have no idea what to name him. I don't have any sort of theme for my pets so I am pretty up for anything. I don't even mind funny names.

I sometimes give my pets "dry" names, like Dave, Jack, Johnny and such
And since Kurken is white, maybe "Whitepaw", "Snowpelt", ...

Sabra or Sabri is a male name that means 'enduring, patient'.

I no longer have the kurken myself, but I called the one I did have Silverbound. His bonds look like silver, and silver's the metal used to bind bad things, like werewolves.

Hmm... not sure. Great name suggestions, but I don't think they fit him. Hopefully one will come to me...

Well I did some digging around and decided to name him Orthos. In Greek mythology Orthos is a two headed dog that is the brother of Cerberus. Unfortunately, while guarding his herd of cattle, he was slain by Hercules. Or so he thought. Apparently he ran away to Azeroth instead ^_^

I love Orthos! Constantyne's is named Corevette. It's the only slightly silly name any of my pets have; my husband is a Corvette freak and when I couldn't name it that, I thought the "Core-" beginning was more appropriate for a corehound anyway

Thank you so much Litlemouse for my amazing signature!

I named him Thumper back before Blizzard nerfed his awesome, reverberating, stomping stride. He's still one of my go-to pets for heroics when we don't have a blood luster.
