"Hey there," Threnaad said to Arbennig, moving his hand to let the drakeadon sniff at it. He looked up to Azu at the change of conversation. "Well, if they were over at the Exodar, they were very quiet. Last I was there anyway, things may have changed. Still, Exodar is far away from everything else and quite boring to boot. I would place my money that they are elsewhere. And no running ahead invisi-cat. That never works out well, trust me."
He looked up to grin at Magna and Asli as they moved over, waving at them with a hand.

Karzix and Glix - Booty Bay

Glix nodded, liking the idea of constant updates. That would help immensely with planning. ... Provided something didn't happen to Azu, that is. She glanced over at Kozri, noting his concerned look. Not that she could blame him - the druid had already died once. She looked over to Karzix, the other goblin still simply sitting there and frowning to himself. She gave him a nudge with her foot and he looked up, blinking as he was roused from his thoughts.

Magna led Asli around, introducing her to everyone.

Arbennig sniffed Threnaad. He recoiled...that was an odd scent...

Azunara nodded, "So no Exodar..." She then looked at Threnaad, looking rather determined. "I can do it though. And it's true, we do need to have more information, and I'm the best one to do it. What can they do to me?" Kozri looked at her, saying quietly, "Control you again."

Azunara growled at the thought, "I'd like to see them try."

Asli did her best to keep all the names and faces straight but she could still have her moments. Her sisters often said she was dropped on her head as a child. Personally she liked to think she could get along with animals better than people and could remember those names better for it.

Magna finished the intro's.

He sat down in the main room to listen to the conversation.

Faron, Booty Bay

Faron listened for a while before finally standing and approaching. Or at least, the troll approached.
"I wouldn't suggest it, Azunara. Batlek wouldn't bat an eye as he turned you into a soul shard. Half the cult is made up of warlocks, they'd be fighting over you."
He really didn't want to see her hurt again. She'd been lucky enough to come back, he didn't like the thought of that being ruined.

"He'd have to find me first." Azunara said darkly, though she couldn't help but give a small shudder at the idea of being controlled again. "And even if he did, what use would I be? I can't hurt anyone, I'm dead." Her voice dropped a bit as she said that, ears drooping. She wasn't even useful to the enemies. Great.

Faron, Booty Bay

Both troll and wolf winced. "Yeah, you would be useful. A bound soul can be shattered, giving the warlock a huge jolt of power... It's, er, not very pretty for anyone involved. Besides perhaps the warlock." Both bodies shook their heads. He remembered all to well how strong Batlek's fire spell had been after shattering Decay's soul shard.

Glix and Karzix - Booty Bay

The two goblins nodded as they were introduced, then turned their attentions back to the conversation. Glix sighed, sagging back against her seat. "Soulshards? They can do that to her?" She crossed her arms. And it had been starting to sound like such a good idea, too.
"And 'old yah 'ostage." Karzix offered. "That troll knows we like yah, Azu. Who knows what 'e would demand from us so we could get yah back safely? If we don't give what 'e wants..." He gestured at Faron and Vallrok, wincing at the wolf/troll's warning.

"The name is Threnaad." The broken grinned at Magna and Asli, winking a little before turning back to Azu.
"Of course they could. Azu is little more than a raw soul anchored here. And never underestimate the power of a raw soul." He said, face turning serious. "There is a reason the Legion rip them out of their victims. Not just because it hurts, and it does, but because they can use that soul to fuel powerful magic. Besides, there are better, safer ways to spy on dumb Afternoon Cultists."

Azunara felt she should've pressed the idea further-it was all they had so far- but it looked like none of them would let her try. "Right." She said, returning to her lying down position, looking rather demoralized. Kozri reached down out of habit to try and ruffle her fur, but like usual, his hand went through her. "I guess if it's too dangerous, I'll just stay." She said with a scowl, adding more quietly to herself, "I just wanted to help. I couldn't do anything in that last battle. At all."

((Because only Azu would be -eager- to go into a Cultist Camp. ><))

Wolf and troll sighed, though he was now in at least somewhat familiar territory.
"I'm only saying that going alone was a bad idea, but not just for you. Anyone is at full risk of soul draining."

Magna thought for a while...thinking of going with Azu if this went to pass.

((Ya know, Vallrok must look pretty silly with Faron giving a serious warning to Azu through him with a sporebat butt in his face. XD))

Indigosa, Willowe, and Rosaliah--Booty Bay

"There is no need to apologize. Laughter is unusual coming from you, but enjoyable. You should do it more," Indi said, flushing slightly, a small, secretive smile tugging at the corners of her mouth despite the fact that she was trying to hold it back.

Willowe pretended not to hear Decay's snide remark, seriously contemplating slugging the death knight right across that smug little mouth of hers. She thought better of it as she reached Myri's room, happy to see the hunter eat, drink, and fall asleep naturally. She frowned at the pets a little. "Thanks for leaving me some," she muttered, grabbing a cup of tea, retrieving her book, and going to sit on the floor.

Rose silently watched the others talk, mulling to herself where Batlek might have fled to this time. She thought hard about whether or not she may have seen the portal in the fray, tried to think if there was a pattern to the troll's traveling.

Serenity chortled on Vallrok's head, thumping her tail on the troll's chest and hugging his face with her vestigial wings.

Karma curled up next to Rose, laying her head on her paws.

Ambrosia and Sabra--Eversong

Ambrosia moved into the circle next, watching as the Cultists moved about to gather plague beasts, a faint smile on the undead's soulless face at the thought of another power boost.

Sabra saw her father move away from the pentacle and wondered what he was up to. Curious, she followed him silently.

"Yeah...But what's to stop him from stealing my soul as a shard in any battle, though? The very next time we could fight, I could end up as a shard. Whether I'm a spy or actively fighting, it's still the same risk." She snapped back, "Guess I should just hide all the time, if I'm just a threat."

Kozri growled, "We just don't want you hurt." Azunara huffed, studying her spectral claws. "And even if someone went, it's still the same problem of having their soul maybe taken. Except they could get more hurt than I could." So it looked like she was either useless, or a threat to the others. She hissed to herself, frustrated.

[Lupis]

Faron, Booty Bay

Vallrok, of course, did not respond to the sporebat, though the wolf doubted the seriousness of his message would get across well while the creature was still perched on his puppet's head.
"I don't think you understand, Azunara. You're no more of a risk than any of your friends. Any of you could have your soul drained. I was simply pointing out that while physical attacks may not harm you, you're not invincible, no more than anyone else."

"The difference is that you will not be all alone when he attacks. Strength in numbers, Invisi-cat." Threnaad grinned. "And I thought we established nobody was running off to scout? Look, I do not know if you guys have any other shaman, but we are trained to see with the eyes of the spirits. Farsight it is called. We have a look, we do not get anywhere near them. If they somehow detect that, nobody is in any danger, since the person casting it is so far away. Or how about using a spyglass? Do not hunters have a similar power too? Or we could find a naked dwarf, maybe the sight of him streaking around the camp will distract them long enough for us to foil their plans."

Zaruuk hiccuped again, a sly smile creeping across his face. "Well, I do not think I should be the only one laughing here. Especially now that -hic!- I do not think we'll be disturbed."
He stopped, scratching at his chin. "Er, perhaps once -hic!- I stop hiccuping anyway."

Indi could no longer keep her smile contained and her hallowed laughter filled the room. She rolled over onto her stomach, looking at Zaruuk and fighting giggles. "Why are you hiccuping like a drunk person?" the death knight questioned.

"I think I know a certain dwarf back in Dun Morogh who would suit that job. Give or take a few ales." Glix grinned.
"Well, I think a spyglass would be pretty easy tah find in a pirate town." Karzix said, leaning back to peer out of the nearest window at the shops lined up along the docks.
